I have been coming to this place since before they had the name they do now. I have spent many hours with the people there as they make the atmosphere like home, with the home cooking included! Yes, there selection is incredible and there service is impeccable but what I loved the most about this place was the food. Just outside the courtyard is a door to some of the best cooking in So Cal. Truly I wish I could just order the food sometimes as I do not live very close and can't go there everyday like I wish I could. This place is my special treat to myself place, when I have the time and the money I try to make a day of it, and with the people there the service and patient area I very well could spend the whole day there and in many cases they encourage you to do so, five stars all the way. BTW I like the new name it's kind of an honor, for those that know me there, they know what I mean!~XD

With the many dispensaries that have opened and closed in my area I hope this one stays. When I arrived I was quickly greeted and found that the place was clean with a safe atmosphere. The selection behind the counter was amazing and the budtender was extremely knowledgeable about the products they sold. Needless to say I spent quite a few minutes pondering over the selection as I wanted to take home everything, and with the prices I most likely could have. I would highly recommend them to any patient and they have my business as long as they are open, Thanks Five Leaf!~XD

I have always loved GDP from the first time I tried it, after meeting with Ken the creator of GDP I was given some insight as to why this strain was developed. I spent half the day at the the L.A.Cannabis Cup with Kenat the GDP booth meeting the many people that have benefited from this humble plant. For me this was an eye opener to see not only how this plant has inspired and helped the hundreds of people in queue waiting to meet the breeder and show their skills as cultivators, with impressive results even with alternative phenome types and unique cultivation techniques. I couldn't help but think of how this former invasive plant or "weed" can unite people of all walks of life to one common goal of unity and respect for nature and their fellow human. This is why GDP is one of my prized strains, not just because of it's benefits medically but it's ability to allow people to set aside their differences and meet on a common level.~XD

Coming from an Asian background I have had my fair share of Ganja from the East. My father was an officer in the Navy which allowed for me to learn quite a bit about a culture and their traditions. The funny part about my adventures with the Thai variety, is the first time I tried it was in Laos, and I seriously thought it was laced with some form of speed. Once I relaxed and allowed the trip to envelope me I found it to be on of my favorite "Day-Time" herbs. That memory was the first thing that popped in to my mind once I inhaled the Pineapple Thai, but with a finer terpene profile and flavonoids that just make you want more. For a daily user with a functional lifestyle, this allows me to work while still maintaining the Cannabinoid levels I need to keep my many maladies in check .
