As my first dispensary HHW will always hold a special place in my heart. However, they recently abolished their customer-loyalty program, and that's honestly the last straw. The location is great, accessibility wise, but is probably one of the most decrepit looking dispensaries I've ever seen before from the inside. The staff turnover seems pretty frequent, so don't get attached to your budtender (Keith being one huge exception-- Keith is the man). The weed quality has dropped with more competition, which is to be expected, but the prices have crept up too and that's just not cool. So yeah, HHW was great. Now it's a backup-to-my-backup and I honestly will drive out of my way to avoid it. :(

Green Genie is hands down the most professional, customer service oriented dispensary I've had the pleasure to visit. Their selection is fantastic and the staff always seems eager to make suggestions that work within my budget. Sarah B. and Lindsay are two of the best budtenders I've had the pleasure to do business with but I've yet to have a bad experience with any of the store's employees. My only complaint would be that the prerolls here suck. For those of you who, like me, enjoy trying new strains by purchasing a nice preroll-to-go you'll be disappointed to find that they don't have prerolls of any of their strains, the prerolls they do have are overpriced, and (worst of all!) even the "premium" $15-for-two prerolls are made of ditch weed. Other than that one minor complain, Green Genie is fantastic! Well lit and secure; friendly and knowledgable staff; spotlessly clean and well stocked store. All around a great experience.

After six months of loyal patronage what I like best about The Jazz Club is how overall consistent it is in terms of price, quality, and customer service. During today's visit my amazing bud-tender, Sam (if she fakes being in a super good mood all the time then she should be an actress!), pointed me in the right direction to an amazing strain of flower. Great deal on that as well as some edibles. Great store!

With a name like Willie Nelson you expect a good, solid high and that's what you get and more. This sativa strain will keep you relatively clearheaded and energetic while also providing a fantastic buzz that alleviates both depression and anxiety. A solid, fun, uplifting high all the way.

Important things first: dust. If you're going to be rolling these buds up by hand you're gonna need 'em. The crystal keif practically falls off it like dandruff. This should be your first clue that the strain is rich in THC. The high you get is perfect for creative endeavors and anything that requires focus and a reasonable amount of wakefulness. If you can score this at a decent price point don't pass it up.

When I asked the pharmacist what she recommended for a high energy, go-go-go strain of native Metro-Detroit satvia her eyes lit up like I'd just asked the correct question. The answer was this dank, rich aromaed weed whose scent instantly brought to mind gas stations and race car runways. If you're in need of a high octane, Days of Thunder sativa strain to bust you out of your fatigue with none of the jittery after-effects of caffeine, this is your dank done Motor City style.

Overall a nice end-of-day, not-ready-for-sleep sort of high. Mentally I find myself drifting off into smiles, the kind from good news or a happy event rather than something humorous. Physically I get lost in the comfort of my own body: movement distracts from that. A most enjoyable experience.
