I nearly left after stepping in the front door. The girl at the counter checking people in IGNORED me standing in front of her for long enough (about 90 seconds) that I thought I was just supposed to just go in. When I moved to go through the second set of doors, she snapped, "You can't go in there." "Ok" I responded and waited another awkward amount of time for her to continue. Finally she told me she had to check me in. I told her it's my first time at the store, and I wasn't sure if the procedure. 60 seconds of silence before "I need your ID." She was so rude and busy with whatever she was doing on her computer that I seriously considered turning around and heading to New Vamsterdam. SO GLAD I DIDN'T. When I finally made it to staff who are into their jobs, the service was amazing. I was immediately greeted when I passed through the second doors, big smiles and friendly faces. I explained what I am looking for, had a strain recommended that looked and smelled great, and got pleasant chit-chat too. Before I left we started talking about CBD edibles, and thank god for that because the guy I worked with turned me onto a CBD edible they could sell for recreational clients (honey sticks) and I bought a pack of those for a friend who can't get a OMMP card due to work but has chronic pain. Once you get past the shitty front desk staff situation, top-notch place! Will come again.
