Today I went into Shango in Hillsboro for the First time, my girlfriend has gone in there several times and has had no complaints except the steep prices compared to Blooming Deals and Portland Medicine Pot. I walked in and was greeted and they checked my ID, customer service was great. I purchased 3.5g of Grandaddy Purple(18.6% THC) for $50.....wait what $50 for 18.6% THC content, that is low!! Great fresh flower though, looks amazing. I also asked if they had pre-rolls because they were not visible to customer view and they had Skywalker (20.7%THC) and Orion's Belt (20.4%THC) available so I purchased one of each. I went home and left for work. Came home after work and grabbed my goodies and went to relax and pulled out the pre-rolls, this is where the real disappointment begins. Skywalker looked like a half of a normal size pre-roll, I was shocked. So I pulled out the Orion's belt pre-roll and it was double the size of the Skywalker. Now this has me going, so I decided to weigh them on the scale. Orion's belt weighed at 0.9g, Skywalker...........0.6g!!! Both pre-rolls were very loosely packed and and the cardboard filter in them weighed 0.1g on the scale. Ummm did I miss something here. You are charging me $10 for each pre-roll. All other dispensaries charge $5-$8 for each pre-roll and weigh 1g or more sometimes. And charging me $50 for 3.5g which is very very steep compared to Blooming Deals and Portland Medicine Pot. I will definitely not recommend this dispensary to anyone at this point until quality and value improve. I took pictures of the pre-rolls side by side with containers matching and also a picture of the Skywalker pre-roll that weighed 0.6g on the scale with visible weight. If I could post them on here I would. I Highly suggest lowering prices if you want to retain any kind of customer base.
