Mandala #1

It's been years maybe 5 since I had this strain from what I remember it developed a fruity smell after curing. It was a good balanced hybrid that was more sativa dominant but the buds were dense. It was also a creeper for me taking a couple of min. To really kick in. Great for social events.

Chemdawg

7/23/2016
I personally love this strain why? Look at all of the most potent hybrids ever Bread in the past two decades and most of them will have a Chemdawg influence. This strain is a go to for breeders everywhere. High Times just tested it at 32% Thc. The highest tested to date. With a good yield, and great trichomes production, not too much of a stretch and killer high no wonder names like og kush, sour d, gorilla glue, Death Star, etc have climbed to the top of the most potent list. My favorite sibling is a cross of Critical Bilbo cut x Cannabiogen's Destroyer x AJ's Sour Diesel called Diesel Destroyer Plus, and I'm most interested to try an historical strain From Washington Dc bread by Brian Rubin, who passed out thousands of seeds of a Chemdawg cross of Heavyduty fruity x Chem 91 which I'm calling Heavy 91. Chemdawg is an epic part of medical history and may be helpful in the fight against cancer due to its high Thc production.

Aurora Indica

7/2/2016
This strain let me down with the pheno selection. Very indica dominate structure with an Afghani appearance that produced huge colas with purple hues long pistols long trichomes sticky buds good for hash but mild with its effects. Relax and chill not very intense. Good for someone who is sensitive to the effects of cannabis. Just not for me.

Sweet Black Angel

Great strain. The indica effects come on first for a relaxing high with minimal anxiety. Then after about 30 min it shifts to a more sativa dominant high. A very enjoyable flower that is both sweet and citrus limonine smell with a dank old mans jacket undertone of myrcene that meshes well. Due to a great terrapin profile it is very enjoyable to smoke. it has a decent tolerance to nutrients but I recommend TLO for this strain. With great looking buds packed full of tricromes that are dense and sticky it's well worth a try.

Cinderella 99

Hands down one of my favorite strains. A staple strain in my eyes. There are many different breeders offering this strain and the best breed from brothers grim seed stock. Others come close so close you might not be able to tell the difference until the high subsides. Imitators may leave you feeling like you have jet lag after the high subsides but when you get a phenotype closer to the princess cut of brother grim genetics you will know. Cindy has a citrus pineapple smell and the pineapple really shines through with a good cure. The high is electric and fun. A great strain for physical activity or training in activities that require multiple reps in order to gain a proficiency of movement via muscle or fascia memory. Hands down a great hybrid.

Maui Wowie

A great stain for someone who is not seeking a high potency medication. Great for depression PTSD TBI or stress. This is a nice strain to escape reality for a moment . If this strain is not properly flushed it will taste like crap and burn the back of the throat. Check your ash it should be white not grey or dark. If it is flushed its heavenly with phenotypes ranging from tropical sweet spice to a hazy peppery flavor. Great functional strain that made me smile.

Chocolope

5/1/2016
A well balanced flower that has a strong dank sweet smell. Definitely has its place as a medicine. Best suited for people who suffer from ADD and ADHD. A calming clear productive and focused high. I only review strains that have been grown by cannabis aficionados from the Dc area, and will never review a strain that has been grown without careful attention paid to the plants environment, feeding schedules, defoliation, flush, hand trimmed and cured. I gave chocolope a 3 out of 5 just because I prefer a longer lasting sativa. I would definitely recommend it to newer cannabis users.

Blue Mystic

4/30/2016
This strain is short strain in size and flower time and has a beautiful sweet blueberry skunk smell. With long trichomes and a typically indica appearance it's a great strain if space is an issue. When placed in a bag it makes a ripping sound when removed that's how sticky it can get especially if stressed two weeks before harvest by splitting the main stem. This strain is a great one because if taken early the high starts with an indica couch lock stone briefly then transitions into a more functional hybrid type high. And if taken late well don't make too many plans great for a movie night. I would consider this strain best for depression and not pain. Also like Dj short preaches a good flush is mandatory to get the best flavors from this Terrapin rich strain. I really enjoy nirvana's version but when crossed to Mandela's Far Out blue mystic becomes a whole different type of blueberry experience.

Lamb's Bread

4/25/2016
This long flowering beauty is top 5 best ever for me. From super sativa seed company genetics a lambsbread male was selected and crossed to double jam. Called triple jam I enjoyed the 19week pheno that had a very carrot smell and tast especially when dry herb vaporized. Great for sitting down and processing thoughts. My leave you not couch locked but brain locked. This sativa will provide a heady buzz with little tiredness on the comedown. This is a strain that can be enjoyed all day at any time. High in thc this carrot spice wood flavor is to die for. Tricromes are short in length and the buds should be covered in super long pistols.

Grapefruit

4/25/2016
Grapefruit is a phenomenal strain for my PTSD. As a Marine veteran I hardly used cannabis pre enlistment, but after treating my ptsd related anxiety for years with alcohol I was desperate to find a change. The multiple meds the VA gave me took me on one of the worst emotional roller coaster rides of my life then I found the grapefruit strain. This strain proved stereotypes wrong. I could function without couch lock and was able to live more normally because the strain causes minimal anxiety. It's no good for night terrors because can interrupt sleeping schedules. But this strain can help when challenging, and processing both internal and external fears related to traumatic experiences. The strain heightens my sense of emotional sensitivity. And allows me to better understand my triggers and live with them. It my be too intense for vets new to cannabis and if so I would recommend mowie wowie. Similar but less intense.
