I love this store! They changed their name, and I wanted to see if the quality suffered. Happy to say, the same great budtenders, (been there twice under the new name) and the same great product. This store is clean, and well layed-out with product lit and displayed. Perfect for those coming down to Bend, or leaving North, pull in - pull out. Leaves time to check out cannabis. I like their packaging, tight pre-weighed zip-locks. All in all, this store should be in your top 2.

Had a nice visit up to Madras, 9/19/17 about 11:00 am. Kristina was my budtender. I like people who listen, so I say I prefer Sativas, but like it all, higher THC, she didn't oversell, or push, just showed me good cannabis . Very friendly , and helpful. Nice assortment of smokable bud. Anyway, it's a little further than a trip to Bend, but the experience was all good.

This place just gets better and better. I've visited several places after taxes kicked in, and first and foremost you see your total with tax right under the strain. Not true everywhere. I know they believe in low prices and customer service because they are always ahead of the other stores. Look, if they go to this much trouble stocking the best bud, listening to what you want, and seeing ahead to what you will need; go here. Reward them. Maybe other dispensaries will try to catch up.

I drive a little distance so I need a good dispensary, good prices, and helpful staff. HGO is in my top three. Quality is always excellent for the rec user, Sam and the other budtenders are GREAT, and listen to what you want. I work out of my home so I need a high THC Sativa that won’t make me veg, to get artwork done on deadline. However, when I’m ready to quit, I want to zone, and get good sleep. They get it. I love the décor, the atmosphere is inviting, and all staff are friendly, pleasant. They are a little out of the way, please Google them and GO!

I come down from Redmond so I need a dispensary worth driving to. A busy, crowded day, they were friendly and welcoming. As a recreational user and artist I wanted high quality, but also something for creativity that would be good for detail work. I was thinking of Blue Dream and the bud tender pointed to it. Just a happy coincidence, but it added to my positive experience. She was knowledgeable about the strains and grades, and told me their virtues, but thought Blue Dream fit my needs. A clean, well-organized store, with attractive décor and very good packaging, I paid my bill and I was gone. This may become my main dispensary.

I explained to the bud tender that I was a recreational user, and that I was a pen and ink artist who needed to concentrate. Her recommendation was LSD. Pretty funny. The smell was bright and promising: there is excellence in this bud! The taste, while not objectionable to me, has a slightly “soapy” quality that lingers in the bowl, even as the weed burns down. Not a harsh herb, in just a regular bowl it burns smoothly. The high is exactly as advertised, some “body” effects, but mostly in the “head”. Pretty much what I read, and she said. What I would add is to me it awakens my thoughtfulness, I feel “quiet” in my head, but still busy, very busy. I would recommend this to anyone, but for an artist, I would not choose this to finish that highly detailed drawing, or for a mechanic tearing down that transmission, I would go look for some Girl Scout Cookies.
