have been shopping at Lucid for almost 2 years. I went there originally because the location was convenient, since then I have been to every 502 location in Thurston County and I keep coming back to Lucid for 90% of my Cannabis needs... here's why: The store is well designed. Clean and free from overdone theme decor. The layout lends itself to a comfortable shopping experience. The products are well displayed and organized. The selection is both diverse and consistant. A lot of stores boast 100's of strains but most of that overwhelming selection is filler. If you come to Lucid for a $30 eighth you will be looking at the best cannabis available at that price point. They have something for everyone from $5 prerolls to top shelf ounces. The staff is solid. Professional yet personable. As a weekly customer I have been served by every Buddtender who works there, of coarse I have my favorites but 9/10 I like and am comfortable having assist me. In a somewhat flooded market this is what really counts. As a Customer Service Consultant it is my job to tell businesses what they are doing wrong in this area. Although I would have a few suggestions even for my favorite Buddtenders (because it's hard to turn off my critical eye) overall they are well trained and friendly. On the couple occasions when I did have a poor experience, I have spoken to the manager as I would with any other bussiness. Complaining online about how "some guy" was rude when he asked for your ID is helpful to no one. Usually when I shop I like to take my time, and I appreciate that the staff respects this. Today I was in an extreme hurry. It was really nice to see Paige, Kenny and Tim behind the counter...three of my top five Buddtenders at this location. I knew I could trust their recommendations and would be able walk away with what I needed in the short time I had. Kenny ended up being my Buddtender. I hadn't been in while he was working for a while. As usual he was friendly and gave knowledgeable recommendations taking into account my personal tastes. He stands out as a great Buddtender for both novices and aging weed geeks like myself. Comfortable location, Great Cannabis, Stellar Staff, and a good loyalty program... what more could you ask for?!
