This is not my first review of these guys. They deserve the second review. This is a shop whose product quality and service are as good as it gets in this neighborhood, and far better than many around here. I have been visiting this shop as well as the others in the Gateway/Montevilla neighborhood for over a year and these guys have consistently delivered the finest flower with the best trim. Bear in mind, there are shops in this area whose "top shelf bud" is equivalent to Rooted NW's "b-grade bud". I guess someone has to sell the stems and leaves, but it ain't these guys. Hell, I have seen stuff in a fresh purchase from other shops that Rooted NW wouldn't sell as B-Bud. Just sayin'. Yes, I am a fan of Rooted NW. Be aware that I haven't even touched on the best that this place has to offer, No, I'm not gonna tell you what the surprise is, that would ruin the thrill. Also, there is more than one surprise. So, go already. Its a little off the beaten track but there is treasure waiting for the intrepid adventurer.

Trees has excellent staff, great prices, great location, caters to the needs of a less-affluent neighborhood, etc... But there can be issues. It is a good idea to be circumspect about the jar that your flower comes from because occasionally there can be a lot of loose "lumber" (sticks with no flower on them) in the container they hand you - this has happened to us on more than one visit. Mind you, we purchased "top shelf" and "second shelf" flower, none of which was sold as "B-grade", "RYO" or "shake"/"trim". Their vape cartridge selection can be limited at times, making available cartridges pretty expensive unless they have 1G cartridges in stock. Moreover, I would like the staff to be clear and up-front about when they are selling flavored distillates. Twice now I have purchased what I thought was just straight up cannabis distillate, only to find out that the stuff was flavored. This is after having asked if it was flavored and having made it clear that I didn't want "flavored" vape. It isn't always easy to read or clearly detailed on the package - I'm just sayin' guys. Hopefully Trees will get better on the distillate cartridges once they get their distillery up and running. For now though, the Winberry Farms cartridges are kinda not great, which is not great since that's all they ever seem to have when I visit. Sorry 'bout the bitch fest. Hopefully its taken as it was intended - as critique and not snarkiness. Cheers!

I went to the coast with my Sweety this past weekend. Among other smoke supplies, we took one of Glisan Buds' Love Dawg pre-roll joints with us. OHMIGAWDESS. The wife is insisting that I get another. That joint lasted two days, had beautiful berry notes the entire time, and the effect was definitely as advertised. Yeah, not sleepy, but you may need to lie down for a while.

This is my second visit and second review. For some reason my previous review didn't post. Got 2 grams of the Dream Queen and 3.5 grams of the LaBianca. Of the two, the LaBianca was the power hitter with a solid body buzz, while the Dream Queen definitely had the better, fruity flavor and a more "cerebral" effect. Smoked together you get lovely flavor, and a good solid head buzz that lasts. The service at Urban Farmacy is typically pretty good, though they are a busy store so I sense that the staff can get a little tired as the day wears on. The budtender who helped me initially seemed disinclined to offer much by way of advise or recommendations - here's the jar, smell it then choose. However, after engaging the budtender the opinions began to flow somewhat. Some folks just need a little coaxing for their opinion. Normally UF would rate a solid 4-star on Service - I think this was a one time thing.
