They have a nice selection to choose from and the 2 strains I brought home were wonderful. The staff was very friendly as well. I drove all the way up to this place for a specific strain they had listed on the menu (Bloopers) and then asked for suggestions on another strain that might suit my taste. The bud tender suggested Pez based on the description of what I was looking for and he nailed it! It was exactly what I wanted. The only thing I didn't care for, which is fairness is common to most dispensaries, is the fact the product is not accessible for freely inspecting. Like most places you must ask to see anything your interested in for inspection. It feels uncomfortable to ask to see every strain before choosing so I will probably stay with my normal dispensary which allows free access for inspection of small sample jars for most of my purchases. I will however keep going back here for their Bloopers and Pez :)

I've been traveling to Shoreline for years to get my meds and have visited dozens of dispensaries. I just found out about this one (so close to home!) and ran down to check it out today. I didn't have high hopes because we are a very small conservative community but I was very pleasantly surprised. What really stands out about this dispensary is your access to the meds. Most places I've been to have their meds up on a shelf behind them and the counter. You must ask the attendant to bring down anything your interested in for inspection - only because you can't really see the product from 20 feet away all you have to go on is names when your asking to see something. This makes exploring very hard and makes you feel like your being a hassle by asking to see each strain for inspection. Some places won't let you touch or break open the buds either. At Fresh Alternative they have sample jars and the main jars right on the counter under your nose. You can clearly see inside the main jars to inspect bud size and read the names. You are invited to open the sample jars and touch, smell, break open, and inspect the buds. You don't have to ask the attendant to see anything, it's all right there for you to inspect at your leisure. They don't have a big selection in the way of medibles and such but they have only been open a few weeks. I'm sure the selection will increase in time for those that prefer that form of medicating. The staff was very friendly as were the other customers! Very small town friendly pleasantness going on in there. Oh and today was an ugly hot day but this place is in a 100 year old home with concrete floors so it was nicely cool in there! Very grateful to have this dispensary in our community and very happy it has such high quality meds and nice people running it.
