Well, given that yet again the OLCC has blown it regarding the recreational cannabis industry, I was forced to venture out of my comfort zone and try out new dispensaries. As a former budtender, I have a lot of respect for the set up, layout, and staff at Human Collective. Very friendly and personable, and for the few places selling rec in the SW Portland area, Human Collective has excellent prices. Got a full gram pre-roll for $5! Location is a little tricky, it's behind a strip mall on Barbur Blvd, so check out the map in detail if trying to visit for the first time. Great job, Human Collective!

Excellent Sativa-dominant strain. AK-47 has all of the benefits of a solid sativa without any of the negative affects. The high CBD percentage is also noteworthy. This might not be your favorite strain, but it is definitely a solid, good smoke and worth a try.

I am not usually a big fan of the Headband strains, but this Blueberry Headband is truly unique. Strong fruity tones when smoked, good solid mellow high that is still highly functional but also very relaxed. This is a perfect hybrid, grab it while you can!

Sour Apple is a delicious smelling and tasting smoke. The high is definitely true to this bud's sativa dominant parents, very uplifting and happy. Leaves you in a very creative yet content kind of a mood.

If you're like me and have ever purchased flower simply based off of how beautiful it is and how delicious it smells, then you'll love this strain. These buds are so gorgeous it's almost sad to smoke them, but you should! Delicious flavor, excellent Indica mellow type of high, the type of smoke that will make you fall into an art project or favorite album.

This is one of the most coveted CBD strains second only to Charlotte's Web. It has a very low THC level, so it is perfect for those weekend warriors who maybe don't have the tolerance of more habitual smokers. The medical benefits of this strain are amazing as well, due to the high CBD levels. It is fantastic for dealing with chronic pain, anxiety, and insomnia. If you smoke for medical reasons and you come across this strain in flower or oil, I suggest stocking up while you can.

If the smell and look of this flower doesn't grab you, the high will! The flowers are beautiful and the taste is just as awesome. With a moderately high THC level with a relatively high CBD content, you can't go wrong with this bud. Despite being Sativa dominant, it's actually a pretty mellow high. Definitely recommend for those looking for a good strain to enjoy before social outings or concerts.

I love this Sativa dominant strain! If you're looking for an energetic, get shit done kind of a high, this is your bud. It's my Saturday morning wake up toke when I want to get things done around the house and still have the energy for an afternoon hike. Definitely recommend this strain if you're looking for an energetic, slightly euphoric kind of high.

Picked up a gram of Lavender as a last minute impulse buy. The budtenders were really stoked about it and, oh my god, the flowers are beautiful! Vibrant purple leaves with orange hairs and looks like it's been dipped in sugar. It's a great smoke with a very pleasing flavor. The high is kind of euphoric and very mellow and giggly. Maybe it's not deserving of 5 stars, but it's definitely better than a 4 star smoke, too! One of my new favorite go to buds for when I get home from work and just want to relax and chill but still have the energy to cook dinner.

Love this strain! Went back for a bigger stash not a week later and it was already sold out. My budtender told me that the growers had mentioned that it's a great bud to relax and could be good for insomnia, which I chronically deal with. It was a super soft, mellow smoke that immediately made me feel super relaxed. Ended up with guests coming over and it made me feel super mellow about that. Didn't make me feel paranoid or withdrawn or too stoned. Actually felt really chatty and enjoyed the company! This is just an all around great strain, stock up if you can!
