I cannot express how professionally empathetic and helpful the staff at Uncle Ike's Central District store is; but, I will try Especially, now that they are medical . I live with a form of Ehlers-danlos syndrome and its usual comorbid conditions ( MCAS, POTS, GI dysmotility) and am still learning about various strains that work for acute and chronic pain(s) , chronic nausea, fatigue, etc. I am a medical consumer and so appreciate the support and compassion; as well as shared knowledge and wisdom, from staff consistently. Being a fairly new Seattlite, relocating partly for equitable access to medical cannabis, I am just so relieved to find consistent, reliable, equitable , inclusive medical cannabis care . Ray is a phenomenal bud who went above and beyond to help me register and even knew about EDS ( definitely more knowledge than most of my MD specialists 🤭) and Patrick really helped me feel welcome and safe to take my time and ask questions as I am still kind of a plant medicine novice.
