An interesting strain. This review is written off the back of trying out Candyland, Black Diamonds, and Northern Lights, all of which were fantastic. Maybe they set the bar a little too high, as Event Horizon didn't quite make it to the stars... although it'll definitely do the job for a classic stoned experience. Despite being a hybrid, it absolutely felt like a Sativa.
It has a lovely sweet floral scent. An almost deceptively nice inhalation experience. The mind-stimulating effects on this strain are strong, stronger than most other hybrids I've tried. As a sufferer of severe anxiety rooted in overthinking, this was not a good fit for me; its body-high potency is quite low, lacking that full body relaxation. But no doubt it has the potential to cause some great mental expansion and deep thinking, maybe even a bit of creativity.
One strength it does have is its versatility, as either a day time or night time strain. It won't couch lock you, and the mental stimulation pairs nicely for socialisation. But it can still be used to ease sleep or insomnia issues, as the mind-stimulating effects will likely leave you mentally tired out and ready for sleep if you want it.
Overall, it's a decent strain. Not my go-to choice, but all the key ingredients of a good high are there, as it does result in some extreme giggliness and dreamy spaced-out-ness. Also found myself getting lost in music on some of the better highs.
Overall a 7/10. 3 stars would be too harsh, but 4 stars is probably a little generous.
