I've been a MMJ patient for about 7 years. I haven't been here years. The format was new to me. I had never been to a dispensary that was basically a retail store. Greeter took a while to enter my info in the computer but otherwise he was friendly and professional. Floor staff was helpful too. I chose my items and walked over to the cash registers and stood behind 2 women checking out. The women finished their transactions and walked away. I approached the cash register. The female ask me if I could step aside while somebody else was waiting in line along the wall- that I knew nothing about. I thought I was in line and I had already been waiting longer than the guy standing in the line along the wall. I was clearly ahead of him but the cashier wanted to refuse to check me out and serve the other customer first. I almost walked out. This was my first time here in years and I had never shopped in a dispensary with this format before. I told her I was about to walk out because I clearly was next in line. She proceeded to ring me up. No apology for the mix up. All I got was the stink eye. As I was walking away she looks at the guy that got in line after me and says to him loudly "I'm so sorry sir. I can check you out". Or something to that effect. She said it like she wanted me to hear it- basically trying to make me look like the a-hole for cutting in line. As I left I told the greeter what had happened and I probably won't be back. He apologized and told me the customer service isn't usually like that. He seemed sincere. As I left I was asking myself why the cashier had such an attitude with me. Maybe it was because I'm a middle aged white guy? We're not exactly popular with the younger crowd lately. I was really disappointed with how I was treated. If she had apologized and not tried to double down and shame me for not standing in line where I was supposed to I'd have not even left this review. I'm not comfortable with this employee having access to my personal info. I won't go back for that reason alone. I may call there in a few months to see if she still works there. If not I may give Greenpharms another try. The self serve format was really cool until I was treated poorly by the cashier. Oh well. I live within 2 miles of other dispos so there's no real reason to drive a few extra miles anyway.
