I really want to love this dispensary because it’s so close to where I live, but I just can’t. There’s just too many issues with these guys and their lack of competence when it comes to running a dispensary. Mr. Doobees’ online menu needs some serious work. Flower and prerolls are all mixed in under the “Flower” button. Concentrates, vapes, and infused prerolls are all mixed in under the “Concentrates” button. Not to mention how they try so hard to fit all the product information into the title, leading to a bunch of acronyms that thankfully I understand, but others definitely do not. They’ve also got at least 4 online menus that all display various different prices, store hours, inventory, etc. Sloppy management. Plus, if you recently turned 21, good luck trying to buy here. Multiple Google Maps reviews (alongside my own personal experience where they almost denied me service) shows how they flat out deny service to people with vertical Washington IDs, despite the fact that the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board identification guidelines state that vertical IDs are valid identification for buying Cannabis and Liquor/Alcohol due to the “Age 21 on __/__/____” section on all vertical IDs. I contacted WSLCB myself and they again confirmed that as long as your “Age 21 on __/__/____” date is in the past, then it is valid and should be accepted anywhere, as long as the ID itself is not expired. In recent months, they’ve started forcing you to hand over your credit card as a secondary form of identification if you’ve got vertical ID. This entire “we don’t accept vertical ID” policy is simply that; store policy. It is not law (like they wrongfully claim in their response to reviews or in person). Just another example of sheer incompetence. This store’s management is severely unorganized and clearly not fit to run a licensed dispensary. It’s a shame because some of the bud tenders are really sweet. Every other dispensary in Washington has figured out how to set up ONE menu and properly organize everything, yet this business can’t seem to figure it out. They also can’t figure out how to properly identify their customers without turning away legal business, so it’s hard to feel bad for them. They really do it to themselves. If you’re someone like me who’s willing to just drive across the river for good service, better selections, and honestly way better prices (due to Oregon’s lower cannabis taxes), then avoid this store like the plague.
