This review is for the Peoria store ... (never had a bad experience at 11th st location) shopped here for almost a year. Generally a good experience overall. Just left today and I heard something that bothered me. The special of the day which is on WeedMaps and on a display on the Shelf in their store says that the special is $50 a quarter. When it came to ring it up, it rang up as $55. The budtender told the owner what was up , he went in the back for a minute. They said he was fixing it. He came back out and said that they weren't going to honor the $50 quarter, it was $55... What's up with that? The budtenders fixed it since I had heard the whole conversation, but I asked the budtender three times as I was being checked out if my veterans discount was applied. All three times she said yes. Get outside and look at my receipt, no discount. I do business with places that apply my veteran's discount with no questions asked. It's in the computer so they apply it. Lost my business at the Peoria store. And the 11th Street store's right by the place that treats me really good. So I probably won't be doing business with Nirvana anymore. To the owner... tip, Don't let your customers hear that you're not honoring your word. Really bad for business man... The above review was written yesterday after I got home. Upon reading other reviews of the store I noticed several people stated that their purchase was short so I weighed mine... paid for a quarter Got 5 grams. Really? False advertising, not applying veteran's discount and ripping me off... better more ethical places in town to shop. Don't do business here
