I am a seasoned cannabis aficionado who spent 2 or 3 years looking for someplace I could shop every week, that would become my neighbourhood store. I wanted great variety, somewhere I felt comfortable and where prices weren’t going to overwhelm me; someplace that was closer than a 20 min drive away; where the bud tenders are courteous and knowledgeable (I have a lot of medical issues and they have given very helpful advice regarding strains and edibles and answered the many questions I’ve had), where the flower was top quality with a large selection of strains. I looked all over Denver, and living in South Denver, there still isn’t a huge amount of choice, but 8 or 9 years ago there was practically nothing available if you lived east of Broadway and south of Hampden. Turns out everything I was looking for was just down the street from me at NHW. It’s the best place in all the above categories I’ve ever been to, and I have been to a LOT of dispensaries in Denver. I actually got my medical card in 2010, and kept renewing it every year until I realised that with coupons, specials, daily deals and really great flash deals via their text blasts, I didn’t even need to worry about getting my medical card every year any more. Their prices are so great that I never stress about it at all. I always know that I’ll find something affordable and appropriate for my needs. And I always have an interesting conversation while doing it. I will not be going anywhere other than NHW for the foreseeable future. You shouldn’t either.
