I recently visited this dispensary for the first time and was pleased to read it was the main headquarters and had an experience that left me feeling very uncomfortable. After making my purchase, I was talking casually with the tall male employee and another female employee near the entrance/exit while I was throwing away my receipt and looking at my packaging. I had completely forgotten about the store policy of not opening products on-site, and there was no signage near the exit or trash can as a reminder. Out of nowhere, the tall male employee stepped very close to me and started repeatedly berating me in front of other customers and employees. His tone was aggressive and made me feel intimidated and unwelcome, even though I was having a normal conversation with him and the other employee just moments before. The whole situation felt unnecessarily intense, and no one else stepped in to de-escalate it. I understand the store has policies, and I respect that. This was an honest mistake, and I wasn’t trying to cause a problem. I also spoke to the manager afterward, who had just started her shift and remembered the interaction. I appreciated her listening to my feedback. While I had a wonderful interaction with my budtender earlier, I left feeling disrespected and uncomfortable, and I won’t be returning.
