IC holds a copy of the original Headband and these plants are her offspring. LA,OG escaped to Nor-Cal ... it is super difficult to grow, never has impressive lab results, and the returns to hash are minimal. With all that said, this sometimes barely hitting 22% THC wonder has brought heavy users questioning their next move and new comers to their knees.

The IC Collective Half Ounce is designed to be a top-shelf experience. No bags, no smalls. Half Ounces are packaged first with the biggest and most robust grade-A buds from a given batch. Most batches we harvest have some A-buds that are too big for the Eighth jar and it felt like a crime cutting them into smaller pieces to fit the jars — so we decided to offer those big, beautiful buds in a larger jar. Half Ounces are sold in a glass jar to protect the integrity of the premium flowers and give our customer an experience of quality.

Uncle Jerry serves up the fiery and heralded Sweet Sting pizza that is so good we had to name a strain after it. The pizza is best enjoyed along with IC Collective's version of Sweet Sting.

The Sweet Sting seed was generated in an intentional breeding project in California in preparation for the Illinois Pheno Hunt. The Sour Diesel & Cherry Lime Gelato cross provides that classic powerful Sour stink with a candy-esque bag appeal. Sweet Sting's flavor gives notes of tangerine backed by mulling spices. We like our weed sweet and spicy.

Pre-Roll (SWEET STING 1g)

Ziablo is back, and she is same, same... but different. The California Ziablo genetic did not survive the Oakland facility fire, so we popped a few reserved seeds from the original breeding project to find the Illinois strain. This pheno was selected because it tastes good and tests high for terpenes and THC.

​When you open a jar of Ziablo, you’ll get hit with a combination of fuel and candy aromas that smell like the home team. Ziablo has a forward sweet smell with an underlying funk that offers tribute to the Zerps, Kush, and Chem lineages. Growing buds that look like a denser Zerps flower, the colors display a lavender haze that makes the orange hairs pop and gives a purple-silver shine that sparkles like opals under a full moon.

Our love for the original Chem Dog spurred a fascination with cannabis that started in 1991.  When we pop seeds from our collection that we have grown and reserved over the years, we are looking for good weed. And by good weed, we mean that it has to be better or comparable to the strains and terpenes we have cherished for over 30 years.

Chem 5 checks all our pheno-hunt selection boxes - awesome structure, smell, smokability, and it is fun to grow! This strain is a Chem Dog 91 offspring that brings the past to the future. Heavy on the Chem in smell and high, with a contemporary structure producing subtle hues of purple that create an indica leaning hybrid. 

ICC’s founder was one of the original testers of the Dogbud seeds Chem 1, 2, 3 and 4 when they were broken out in the early 2000’s. Those plants were discarded after testing and the original Chem 91 remained our favorite Dog. Coincidentally, this pheno’s identifying number during our in-house testing was ‘Chem 5.’  After a few test rounds and a few high fives, the name Chem 5 stuck as an ode to the past and a look to the future.
