Dutch Cake

Just got this strain. I'm not really impressed. Dark green with reddish to purplish highlights. The buds I got looked nothing like the picture here.. Covered in trichromes to the point it almost looked sprayed on but obviously was natural. Smelled like ultra lemony pine tree which is how I knew it is actually Dutch cake. The taste isn't there for me. Like smoking lemon flavored dirt imo, however, the high is amazing! Total head in the clouds effects. Not sure yet about longevity but I smoke a lot. Normally 3x your average smoker. Not embellishing. Like all day long, everywhere I go. If there was no other options, I'd pick up more of the Dutch cake but I definitely wouldn't be excited about it.

Incredibly frosty with a pungent aroma of pine and citrus. The cure on it is really nice, and as is typical of a great cure it has a really nice moisture level. Not only does it seem to be grown with care, but also not rushed. The trim on it is near perfect without trimming too much. The smoke is heavy on the lungs and not on the throat, and the high is a confusing one. The high is almost dizzying in that you feel a strong sativa influence in the head, but if you're able to focus on your body you feel a strong high there simultaneously. I think this strain is exemplary of what a modern hybrid should look like 9/10
