The Botanist - Columbus

This dispensary falsy advertised an item to be on sale for 40% off. I ordered said item online. Drove 20 minutes past several other dispensaries to find out they actually meant a completely different item. When I tried to show the budtender she wouldn't even look at my order on my phone. She told me I could get my original items at full price. There are just too many other dispensaries to go to that actually will honor their mistakes.

Thankyou to Erin for finding me find products that helped deal with body pain. I wasn't sure at first if they have parking but they have parking in the back and across the street. Everyone that works here makes me feel welcome and they are very attentive, It makes me look forward to coming in to shop!

Good peeps that work there but the check book people and that have no know idea of the medical side should probably do some field research and some reading , in my opinion ,,, this is your typical money price gouge and take all the money you can snag while you can… the real medical patients need it. I had such an delightful first time at a dispensary today with The Botanist staff being very educational, professional, and full of recommendations I had no issues finding exactly what I needed. I came looking to get old school high and Joelle personally recommended me these delightful, discrete, delicious candied lemon gummies! She was so friendly and helpful! I'll definitely be coming back for more!

I have been going to this dispensary since july and i have been to others walked in and walked right back out bc i didnt like the atmosphere i will keep coming back to the botanists for as long as they are around. The people who work here make the place have compassion they care about their patients/customers unlike other companies i have been too.

The biggest issue is very limited parking in a poorly maintained lot.

Customer service is lacking. I'm tired of being skipped over as I wait to get my order filled. With a computerized system, this shouldn't be happening. It's simple: first come, first served. When I voiced my concern to the staff, I was ignored both in person and via email. This isn't a fast food transaction; customers need to be treated better by this dispensary -- especially given the price patients are paying. And parking is a pain.

My husband who is my care giver had to go in for me - we were worried that they would not help since I could not be present despite the caregiver card. I have epilepsy, migraines, chronic pain and this path is new no me - I am a researcher and have put a lot of study into this area. My husband said they treated him with dignity and respect and that they would help to get me pain free and to call and come in with any questions or concerns. He said the are was so clean and comforting that he felt welcome by space and people. He did not mind the longer initial appointment at all and enjoyed talking to everyone. We will never go anywhere else!!

There’s nothing to dislike about this place , I just got my card and they made the process feel like I always had it I was in and I was out as quick as I made the order to be picked up and I even added stuff and was out so quick

Request him, especially if you have questions. He is super knowledgeable and has been spot on with his recommendations for me. I will be back!

Do not recommend. If you value flexibility, customer appreciation, or an overall great experience, this is not the place for you. Also, they are STRICT with their 15-min curbside time slots. Glad I was able to take my money elsewhere.

I don’t like this website there are no pictures of the products they claim to have. That’s very unprofessional to have a website and not show pics of the product before you go to the dispensary.

All good people. Chill environment. The waiting area is small but you usually aren’t there for only a couple minutes. Then inside it’s big and plenty of things to browse while wait for your order or to be called.

Always an easy experience. The staff is all super friendly and knowledgeable.

As someone with chronic pain it is infuriating to not be able to depend on my local dispensary. I have had multiple orders cancel right when they were supposed to be ready for pick and if you are 2 minutes past the pick up window you have to park across the street and go inside, which I am not always physically able to do. Will be finding a new location.

This was my first experience at a dispensary in Ohio. I was very nervous and anxious walking in but they created a welcoming environment and encouraged lots of questions. I felt like I knew so much more about my cannabis journey after working with their staff. They were also very efficient in fulfilling my order.

Their staff at the Botanist is second to none. Out of the 10+ dispensaries here, this has been the most knowledgable and friendliest staff that I have found. Their products are a little more expensive than their competitors, but they are my go-to shop with any questions I may have surrounding strains or consumption. Excellent spot to check out if you haven't already.

Amazing folks and great products!!

I am entirely new to cannabis use for either medical or recreational purposes. Getting my medical marijuana license was a bit of a Hail Mary pass for relief from chronic headaches. I was a little intimated at first, not being familiar with the history, culture, or language that has formed around cannabis use. After some research I chose The Botanist in Columbus to be the first dispensary I tried. After that first trip I see no need to check out the other dispensaries in town. The store is warm and inviting looking from the outside. The friendly front desk staff quickly checked me in and took me back to the purchasing area. The interior is warm and softly lit, with jewelry-style display cases showing off some of their hardware. An ATM is available in the store, but for a fee. Transactions are cash only, so come prepared. After only a brief wait I was assisted by another extremely friendly and helpful staff member, who was able to set me up with everything I needed to get started, and for a reasonable price, including a strain that has helped alleviate my symptoms. I have been back several times since that first trip, trying out different strains and forms, and everything I have purchased from The Botanist so far has been absolutely top notch. I will be returning to The Botanist for all my future purchases, and see no need to check out any of the other dispensaries in town.
