Zen Leaf - Portsmouth

I have been a customer since the dispensary first opened. The products & service have always been great. However, everything has changed so much. Discounts, sales, points... all suck now. Almost everything is always "on sale" so when the real "sale" comes around, these products are still the same price. Only on holidays do you get an actual sale. Points have been reduced significantly. Also you can't combine more than one discount. So if you are on disability & already get 10% off, you either get that or the posted "sale" price. Since most products are almost always on sale, you don't get that 10% off. Now, when they first got started, they would post their quarterly earnings. They no longer do that but I can tell you that they are making more than enough money to lower prices, keep the points as they were, honor all discounts, etc. I only go because the place is right by my house & well, I'm a pothead. Of course I'll be back. Staff is great, they always have been. Place smells amazing. Parking sucks at times. I really don't like all the new changes though. Phooey.

When I placed my order online the total was $52. When i went to pick my order up, receipt on my bag said $52 however I was charged $72. I mentioned it to sales clerk and she tore the tag off my bag and said that it was the packing receipt. Two places showed total at $52 yet ultimately charged $72. Beware, your online total will be lower than what you pay when you pick up.

I'm being perfectly honest. 1) all virginia medical marijuana is weak. Nothing has any punch to it. NOTHING. I've been to DC & Maryland. All there marijuana is at least 26% and as high as 42%. Same price as tge weak strains we are forced to settle for. 2) the atmosphere is nice. Nothing like the dispensary in California, Colorado, Even Washington dc. I would expect by now they woukd have figured out. What a dispensary is supposed to look like and the smoking device needs. 3). The bud tenders are all nice. However I'm sure they here day in and day out. How weak this marijuana is. How about passing it up the chain of command? It's been over 5 years now. It's sad to think. That I am capable of growing better at home in a 3x3 tent.
