The Louisiana Art and Science Museum is located in Baton Rouge in a historic railroad depot right on the Mississippi River.  Go back in time as you walk thru the Ancient Egypt Gallery.  There are galleries exploring the solar system and universe.  Included is the Irene W. Pennington Planetarium which is the “star” attraction at the museum and features sky shows and movies.  Here you will learn about the night sky and celestial events all under a 60 foot dome.
