I can’t smoke so, I’m kinda forced to vape (sparingly) and use edibles/tincture. Trying to dose as a new med user was impossible via edibles. I’d never had cannabis before, so this was the first dispensary I went to. The private rooms at the Kalamazoo location made me feel not so embarrassed to ask questions. The staff has seemed knowledgeable in every area except vape cartridge strains. It’s as if it’s a total foreign language. I have a few strains I prefer, but no one has them, so I ask what might be similar and no one ever knows. I’ve had only one person look anything up for me. It’s tough when diesel, skunk, or overwhelmingly pine flavor makes me nausea worse when having a migraine. Berry or citrus is better. It doesn’t help I don’t have the money to try several different ones. I’m on a fixed income and below the poverty line, so it’s important to me their recommendations are more than just guesses. Other than that, I love everything about this location.

I can only speak to the quality of vape carts and edibles as I don’t smoke and am new to vaping. In fact, I’m totally new to med. cannabis. I loved the clean atmosphere with a more modern Asian aesthetic. My bud tender asked specific questions regarding the health conditions I was treating and what strains of vape carts I had tried that helped even slightly. He then suggested two vape carts in strains I wasn’t familiar with. He said they would be less harsh on my lungs as a newbie. He was spot on. Northern Berry helped me quiet my mind, control pain, relax to drift off to sleep. Everyone was very professional here and the packaging was very nondescript, making it easy to run other errands and not worry about someone breaking into my SUV. I definitely will be returning. The only thing I would have liked was privacy as a new pot user so I could ask questions and not feel stupid with a bunch of other ppl who could hear me.
