House of Dank Recreational Cannabis - Traverse City

This was my first visit to HOD after driving by several times over the years. When I entered, I immediately noticed how shut down and disconnected the staff was. There was one bud-tender with a guest and a couple of others walking around the office.
After nearly 10 minutes, someone finally offered to lend a hand. Unfortunately, she didn't provide any significant value. When I asked questions, she said she didn't know, and we would need to look up the answers on Google. So I just advised I'd figure it out.
When the original tender, who was busy, became available, she offered to support and did a good job of answering my questions, but I felt VERY rushed.
I'm currently in an exploratory stage where I'm constantly trying new items to learn what I like and what I don't. So I undoubtedly have more questions than someone with decades of experience. It just would have been nice to be greeted with a smile and an interest in creating a fantastic guest experience. It also would have been great if I didn't have to buy an entire ounce of the bud I wanted to 'try'. Hopefully, it's everything I'm looking for. :)
The invitation to leadership of HOD is to hire happy people who are passionate about their job, and then make every effort to keep them happy and engaged.
In the end, my experience was much like their parking, the staff, and overall vibe—lackluster. I would only go back if I were looking for something specific and they were the only ones who had it.
