In the twelve years I have been using cannabis, I have almost always had some slight anxiety/paranoia right after smoking. Usually, this goes away after 15-30 minutes, especially now that I rarely take more than a couple of small drags at a time. Sumo Grande allows me to get the fun high that I want without any feelings of anxiety or paranoia. I honestly didn't think it was possible to smoke without some immediate negative effects. I originally was drawn to this strain due to needing some help with my ADHD, but I soon realized that something was different. I think it was the third time smoking SG that I finally noticed I was expecting to feel slightly uncomfortable for a few minutes, but it never happened. This has been a total game changer for me! Even living in a legal state, enjoying two puffs on my couch, I expect myself to get anxious after smoking because that is what has happened for so long. However, things are totally different for me now, and I'm still in disbelief that it took me so long to find a strain that works so well for my needs. Again, I only take 2-3 hits at a time, but I get incredibly high. After 30-40 minutes I begin to feel more stoned than anything, but some hyperfocus remains without being too overbearing. In combination with some cbd, I was able to take advantage of the focus and clarity to get some work done. I've never reviewed a strain before, but I have been so impressed with how well SG has worked for me. I hope to find more strains that can help me to fine-tune the experiences I am looking for. Long gone are the days when I used to try to get super high all the time. Nowadays I prefer feeling baked/stoned, but Sumo Grande truly allows me to cross the threshold a bit more than I usually do, without feeling like I may have over done it.
