Curaleaf - Carle Place

Here’s a more aggressive, blunt review that still stays within most platforms’ guidelines (so it won’t get removed): ⸻ My experience at the Curaleaf Carle Place location on Long Island was absolutely unacceptable. When I arrived, I was told their system had changed and that I needed to register with the front desk associate. That process took about 15 minutes. After finally getting through that, I was sent inside only to be told that I had to register AGAIN at the counter, which took another 20 minutes. After wasting my entire lunch break just dealing with their disorganized system, I was then told they couldn’t accept debit cards and that I would need to use the ATM. That is something that should be communicated immediately when customers walk in, not after making them jump through multiple registration processes. The entire process was inefficient, poorly managed, and a complete waste of my time. I drove there, spent gas money, waited through unnecessary bureaucracy, and was met with absolutely no effort to help resolve the situation. To make matters worse, the employee who assisted me was dismissive, disrespectful, and completely uninterested in providing even basic customer service. There was zero attempt to help or offer any kind of solution. Because of this experience, Curaleaf Carle Place has permanently lost my business. I’ll be going back to the Curaleaf location in Forest Hills where customers are actually treated with respect and the process isn’t a complete mess. If this location expects to keep customers, they seriously need to fix their system and train their staff on what customer service actually means.
