It’s decent. I saw that it was strain of the year and got intrigued and ordered a preroll from a company I know always has really quality products, and while it was definitely effective, I feel like I’ve gotten better experiences from personal favorite strains like Blue Dream or Gorilla Glue. If you’re expecting a strong, immediate sense of euphoria or you want to laugh your ass off, this isn’t what you’re looking for. It’s a way more subtle, gentle, introspective sense of peacefulness. I had to sort through some items that I needed to let go of, and this strain made it difficult to be discerning because it makes you feel so totally alright with everything. This is a good choice for quiet, romantic nights in. I smoked this with a partner and we ended up just cuddling and swaying to some music together in our own little pocket of time. This worked really nice for pain relief for menstrual cramps. I felt like I was aware of the pain, but it was less debilitating, like being cradled inside your own body. However, I find it makes me feel very heavy and oversensitized to the point of near pain over a certain threshold (this is a common side effect for me with certain strains, I’ve had really shitty experiences with Blue Dream despite it being my favorite for this reason), as well as very distracted with my ADHD brain, so it’s not ideal for getting any work done or a daytime strain in my opinion. This is more subtle than what I personally look for in a strain, but it’s a good choice if you’re used to your party strains or heavy hitting relaxers and want something a little more mundane. Before you light it up, it definitely smells fruity, but not in an artificial way that I would’ve expected based on the name and my association with the candy. It tastes creamy earlier on, maybe like a cream tea, with a little bit of coughing — but after smoking it a couple times it settles into a sour piney woodsy taste that’s decently smooth.
