CHERRY PIE (CHERRY PIE [GRAND DADDY PURPLE X DURBAN POISON] X GELATO [SUNSET SHERBET X THIN MINT COOKIE])    Cherry Pie is an Indica-dominant strain derived from Cherry Pie (Granddaddy Purple x Durban Poison) x Gelato (Sunset Sherbet x Thin Mint Cookies). Cherry Pie is certainly one of the best-smelling strains on the market, but it also has much more to offer, making it fantastic all around.    Cherry Pie is a strain that has typical traits of a Sativa strain, but its Indica structure gives it a great advantage. Its sturdy stem and branches will not require support and it can handle different training methods. As long as you are careful, the risk of branches breaking is minimal. It is kept fairly small, so it can easily fit in medium-sized grow tents and is inconspicuous when planted outdoors. Exposing the plant to cooler temperatures during dark cycles in the last weeks of flowering can help transform it into a purple-leaved beauty. The buds will develop purple flecks, which significantly increases its bag appeal. Cherry Pie needs a comfortable room temperature of around 70 to 80 ‘ F and flourishes in a semi-humid environment that registers an RH level of 40 to 50%. Keep it well pruned to prevent moisture build-up and mold and mildew attacks.    Cherry Pie is not only a plant beauty that we can admire, but also a feast of aromas and flavors. This strain has a sweet and fruity aroma that once it passes through your palate, you will notice a freshness with earthy and fruity touches. CHOCOLOPEZ (OG CHOCOLATE THAI X CANNALOPE HAZE)    Chocolopez has absolutely psychedelic genetics, due to the fact that it is a practically pure sativa thanks to OG Chocolate Thai and Cannalope Haze that gave it life. The effect of this variety is long-lasting, intense, and restless. Fans of sweet sativas with earthy hints, high flower production, and psychedelic induction will be in awe of Chocolopez.    This cannabis plant has a sativa phenotype and tends to be XXL size, measuring 2 or 3m outdoors. If you are a fan of cannabis pines, this one’s for you!    Indoors, it can measure up to 1.60m. Therefore, some cultivation techniques are recommended both indoors and outdoors. You can grow Chocolopez with a scrog system with which you will get uniform tails full of resin-covered flowers. More lateral than vertical growth makes this a good contender for SCROG method. Topping only once or twice will give you a great canopy to work with. Defoliation is definitely recommended lower in the plant when training and during bloom. Large rounded golf ball shaped buds develop quickly. While the plant stays mostly green, fan leaves and buds will take on some purple hues around week 7. Extremely trichome-rich.  Notes from the Growers: Cold Queso, aka That Damn Skunch!, is an impressive additional to the Dirty Bird roster. We were happy to find a strain (Dam-a-lam) that could rein in the apical dominance of Skunch while still complementing her terps and high. The influence of Dolato added a layer of creaminess which really helped to create cheesy gas notes on top of the citrus skunk of the Skunch. By far the highest terps of any strain we've tested so far.  We really love a lot about this strain. Beautiful fat buds - great yield in a small space - sugar leaves so covered in trichomes that it looks like white Velcro - more terpenes than a perfume factory. The high from Cold Queso is top notch too, slapping that sour look off of your face so you can finally enjoy your day. As the plant stretches and develops more bud sites, you will need to ensure adequate airflow not only in the general grow space, but also in the lower branches. This can be accomplished by a combination of regular trimming of the fan leaves and folding and tying the stems. This practice not only allows better control of humidity but also the consistency of the buds. As a result, mold and mildew are unlikely to become a problem. Like many F1 hybrids, the genetics are vigorous and strong. The show-stopping neon purple of the Bahama Mama really came through on this cross, peppered with some of the Unicorn Poops vibrant and deep maroon coloring. Our Unicorn Poop and Bahama Mama parents both produce golf-ball type flowers with long internodal spacing, both of which passed on to their Dark Soul progeny. It's hard to find more bag appeal than this, folks. The one thing to look out for on these ladies is hermaphroditism. While we did not observe this in our initial testing, we have found that the Bahama Mama is prone to it, and that is the sole reason this strain is still in the tester phase. Notes from the Grower(s): The quest continues to perfect our Dirty Mimosa genetics. What we love about the original is the phenomenal sativa high and the apple/citrus/gas terps. Dirty Mimosa Bx2 has those things that we love, with some performance enhancement from the extra dose of Mimosa (Symbiotic Genetics). All of the plants we ran were harvestable (at least 10% amber) by day 50, which is super impressive even to our standards. Our original Dirty Mimosa has performed exceptionally well – indoors/outdoors, flowers/extract, experienced/first time growers – and this new incarnation is no exception.
