I absolutely love BIG! The flower is nice, the distillate carts are great. Higher potency edibles are on point. The care is there that I need/want, and it’s not only because of product, but also because of their wonderful staff. I adore every person I’ve met who works there. Roz, Courtney, Junior, Gabby, Mari…and everyone else I haven’t mentioned. Highly recommend visiting this crew.

The selection is wide and wonderful. The quality of products is dependable and consistent. The website that goes important and comprehensive information about each product and how it is produced and the staff are helpful and willing to answer any questions or concerns. It's a good vibe.

It always feels like Ohana helping me from the front door to the back counter, these bud tenders greet you with aloha from the moment you walk in and it doesn’t stop until you’re walking out. I’m deaf and I’ve always been treated with best service! The girls especially at Big Island Grown Kona have my back and I can’t say enough about them. This was my first time visiting Big island Kona, I have my medical card in the state I live in and was thankfully able to get my medical card in Hawaii while I was visiting temporarily which was a huge relief. The lady at the front desk (I am so sorry, I cannot remember her name), was very welcoming and answered all of my questions. Courtney helped me with my purchase and everything she recommended for my condition was perfect!! I had a lot of anxiety about going to a new place but they made me feel so much better!

The entire process of getting a medical marijuana card that you can use in Hawaii is very simple and takes only a matter of hours to get approved. I am a cannabis tourist and I travel the country sampling and trying the best offerings everywhere I go. I learned that Big Island Grown has two categories --- Farmers Choice and Pakalolo -- the only difference is farmers choice is the top buds and Pakalolo is the smaller flowers below the colas. It is highly debatable whether there is any difference between the tips and the bottoms but the real win here is the soil and water used to grow in.
