Hi ZoeXanax, Thank you for leaving a review based off of your experience it will better help the team diagnose further issues to work on. I would like to also thank you for coming into the shop at the busiest time of year (grand opening)! There was plenty on our plate that day and it was definitely not intentional to leave you hanging. I would like to explain that the buds purchased for our grand opening were half off. The buds were further from their harvest date, however, we do keep the recommended humidity packs in each and every jar stored. That being said, we do have a FRESH batch coming out in under a week, so you should be able to find the most suitable cured buds if you choose to return. The "stuff from the back" is in order to preserve as much freshness as possible. Considering if we left all the buds in the jars the light/oxygen would deteriorate the buds quicker than ever and provide a not so tasty experience. Hi Enlightenme59, Thank you for making us aware of your situation, and letting our team fix the issues through your review, it definitely makes the team stronger in the long run. I can assure you that Green Canopy has full panel testing through an above board incredible testing facility. We test for pesticides, insecticides, heavy metals, (full) Cannabinoids, and (full) Terpene contents. There must have been a miscommunication considering we were having a Grand Opening the day you came in, where we offered $3 grams and HALF price flower. It is always in the budtenders best interest to find what suits every individual, and at Green Canopy we strive for perfection. In the next coming week we have 10 strains being released from our sister company "Top Shelf Growers", which will be extremely fresh and wonderfully cured buds should you choose to return. The pre-packaged is due to prior experience looking at colorado primarily, but also nevada, california, and oregon dispensaries. If the bud is left in huge jars ALL over the shop it can easily deteriorate the buds that much quicker. So, at Green Canopy, we pride ourselves in providing small batches in weighed jars, and leaving the majority of the bud in humidity/temperature controlled environments with the lights off.
