used to be a great place with good prices on flower and concentrate..now they are at the bottom of the list for me...overpriced and not great quality..other places have lots better deals and better quality...Attis for one..probably wont go to this location anymore...

I've been visiting this store as a "recreational" customer since "recreational" became "legal" even though I have needed my cannabis for medicine. I haven't had a "qualifying condition" for a medical card but my medical need is still obvious. I find that it is very easy for me to follow my nose in choosing from the constantly pleasantly changing menu for herbs that will suit my medical needs. Definitely the most satisfying smoke I have tried on the north coast. I have tried 12 or 13 different strains from this shop and so far I would say my favorite has been the ATF, also, the Choco Chunk has never been a bad choice. Some of their herbs are not the best trimmed; some have a lot of stick and occasionally there are strains with a lot more leaf than I'd like to see, but generally, most herbs are tip top from appearance, to potent aroma ("loud") and well-manicured with the perfect amount of moisture. The service since I have visited the place has been progressively better since October. There are a particular couple of people who have served me who were not the friendliest or most respectful of the fact that I'm spending a lot of money when I buy buds from a dispensary; one guy who I thought might be a tweeker liked to rip and tear nuggets apart to try to meet the weight of the order rather than find the nuggets to fit it and break off small nodes/stems like the other tenders do. That put me off quite a lot to speak of. The people I have encountered more regularly in my multiple trips to this store, the short guy who's always in an upbeat mood and the older lady who tries to make folks feel welcome in particular are faces that I'm happy to see when I show up to get some medicine; the people who were there today. The shop itself is very clean, it's pretty bare and a bit bright, almost institutionally so, but always very clean and professional presentation. The many herbs available line the shelves for the whole length of the counter and are easy to visually examine from the counter. It does sort of echo in the room but smells great with all the people smelling the potent buds that are available. This is by far the best place to get buds from Tillamook to Seaside on the coast. Price, quality, friendly service, selection and generally reliable satisfaction with every trip make La Mota in Rockaway Beach the store to pick whether you live in the area or you're visiting the coast and looking for premium smoke.

This Store sells some of the best weeds! I love this place. Best staff ever. If you're in town, don't miss this shop. You won't be as happy if you do.

If you visit this place, and there are more than 2 people in line, I hope you have an hour to kill. The little bleach blonde lady that was working there had a bad attitude, was slower than any service worker I've ever encountered, and tried to stuff my container with trimmings. She dumped the jar into the container, then picked out the most healthy buds she could, to make weight. I called her out on this saying "Why are you sticking me with all the trimmings?" Her response was..."Oh don't worry, it won't affect your high." I promptly left the store without the junk they were trying to sell me. There were only 6 people including myself in line... 3 of those people left waiting for this lady to wake up. I spent 45 minutes waiting for her to fill 2 orders. Only reason I waited that long was because as soon as you walk in, they take your ID hostage, and before you are allowed to buy anything, they enter all of your information into their computer without even asking if that is okay. Is that normal in Oregon? WTF? I'm from Washington, and their shops are in a different league comparatively. Worst marijuana experience I've ever had. Shady ghetto drug dealers included. I felt neglected, used, and disappointed in the quality going into this shop. If the people of Rockaway knew how bad this was, they wouldn't go there, and their entire business would dry up. I'm going full boycott on this shop. I'd rather drive an hour than have to stand there twiddling my thumbs for an hour in line, just to get a container full of trimmings... Then have the worker tell me "to not worry about that." How embarrassing for them. Terrible. Everything about it.

very happy with the quality of Medicine however I am extremely upset that I was charged $65 per case when it clearly states that you guys pay our sales tax which is clearly a lie and I'm not going to come back ever again and I'm going to tell all my friends about it I had a card before and now I don't let it expire what a big mistake! I am livid

This is my favorite dispensary at the coast! They have flower for any budget. Super dank top shelf and really good deals on bud that doesn't sell as fast. Some of my favorites have come from the bottom shelf. Super nice helpful staff. Two snaps up in a Z for me!

I appreciated La Mota when they first arrived. Since then I have watched staff turnover, flower looking shady, and PLEASE do not allow concentrates with bits of stuff in it to be sold to the public... I still enjoy chatting with the staff but until quality goes back to NORMAL levels I will not be purchasing anything.

ive visited the other la mota's and was not disappointed like i was by this one. their in house shatter or poop soup is not even worth what they charge. beware.

I love La Mota! Being a local on the coast there aren't many options for the dispensaries I go to but regardless of location I love this place! The employees here are awesome and super friendly. They also have some of the cheapest prices on the coast. Quality is not compromised in the cost though. I'm always above satisfied in the quality of flower and oil that I have purchased from them! :)

I find la Mota in rock away beac just the opposite of one review it is airy the staff is very helpful they have a freak selection of bud and the tenders are great at what they do. I have been coming into la Mota for quite some time and enjoy going into the store very much I like to think of them as a home away from home every one knows me and treats me the same as if I were a new customer The edibles are great the lunchbox squib really makes a big difference in my night time nightmares THANKS CONNIE AND STAFF

Atmosphere is very cold. The woman that helped me was busy talking with another patient and another budtender that she only made eye contact with me once as she pulled raw nugs apart with her bare hands. yeah, wasnt the best experience. I have been to shops all over Cali and Oregon and work in this industry myself. The pot I purchased is why i gave 4 but customer service was not on point the day I went in.
