Upstate Canna Co - Schenectady

I especially decided to shop here because it happened to be less than a mile away where I was for a function. And...I had checked out their menu online! This was the only place in the area where I could get brands I have been looking for. I was completely pleased with whole experience at Upstate Canna. Plenty of parking in front of the store. Pleasant check-in. Layout utilizes space efficiently so you can view products. Tremendous selection of flower and prices to fit every budget. many other products to choose from as well. I was very pleased with the prices on what I bought. Jeremy, my budtender was pleasant (as was Joe, lol) and knowledgeable about what I purchased. Overall, this was a great first-time experience. As a veteran of visiting six state's worth of dispensaries, I have had many good, some mediocre, and flat-out poor experiences (just a few). I will definitely visit again if I am in the Albany/Schenectady area.

I have shopped here many times without a problem. This last order was the most disappointing and disgusting product I have ever received. Tiniest buds covered in stems and won’t even stay lit. Lost half the product to stems. Waist of money.

Jeremy is a great guy to go see always very happy and knowledgeable about the what they have on hand. Never lets me or my wife down. Go see them NOW!! You won’t be disappointed.

I love this shop, makes life so easy!! Rob is awesome, very helpful, polite and friendly. The young ladies in the back are fabulous also!

always love the selection and the service is always great. there’s the option to order ahead and pick up which is convenient, or delivery. when i go in-person my favorite budtender is Elaina!

I never write reviews but i am completely disappointed with my experience here and NY MMJ to be honest. Everytime ive placed an order i get mainly old completely trash and useless nugs. Smaller than popcorn, no smell, poorly trimmed, all for an overpriced 8th that should be the price per ounce. I cant directly blame this establishment as the quality has varied by brand, some have been tolerable. So far can say i have only been impressed with the brand Dank, Matter, and kind of Electraleaf. Tyson 2.0, 40 Tons, and High Falls were atrocious and borderline unsmokeable. The 40Tons tropical cherry specifically may be the worst nugs i have ever seen in my life. I do not recommend pickup or delivery orders unless you have already purchased that specific product, and now have to go and deal with the annoying sales pitch in order to not get completely ripped off. NY MMJ has a long way to go.

I love Upstate Canna Co! I have been to a few other dispensaries in the area and they were fine, but the vibe at Canna Co is better than the rest. Legacy dispensary is literally within walking distance to my house, but I'd rather just drive further and go to Canna Co. Their prices are competitive with other area dispensaries but their selection of products, personal attention and chill atmosphere make it a+. Joe has great recommendations, is patient, and is always willing to take the extra time to make sure you leave with the perfect product for you.

Upstate Canna Co makes the days of picking up whatever few strains my dude might** have seem like shopping before malls…and then after malls which makes it…errr…lol point is they got me feeling right 😶‍🌫️🫠. I always do walk-in. Line moves quick. Even from out the door I never wait more than 20? min. But there’s times I wouldn’t expect when I can stroll right in. They open early, close late and I dont have to text if they home. I garden, but I grow my snacks bc their product is fire. Prerolls for days, huge selection. Weed water?!?Flower priced and top shelf. I’ve had most the reg budtenders and never had a bad experience. Zero anxiety if ur a new user. Super friendly. All have been knowledgeable ab the inventory and different cannabis strains and seem to believe in the product lol. But not like burnt out caricatures. Staff are professionally fun and each offers something different, but always helpful. Not just weed expertise but experienced to help guide if u new to it or apprehensive. People shopping to help pain or sleep, just CBD. Not just getting frosty on the moon. Rupa is the BEST, even though Rok is the lord of all intergalactic transdimensional budtenders?! I was told at least lololol. They always got me cracking up and I’m usually mostly not even high beforehand. Chill vibes, quality products plural and check their site bc the menu gets updated regularly. Prices are on par if not cheaper in some cases which is whatevr bc it’s a huge selection. AND they deliver!!! Special shoutout out to Gio! I ♥️ the future. Blast off

I used to smoke weed off the streets and catch really bad panic attacks, my chest would hurt, I just wouldn’t feel right.. I started going to upstate canna co around the time that it first opened and NEVER had a panic attack again.. I’ve went as far as purchasing strains from the same growers from other shops, compared the two and found that many other dispensaries alter their weed. Please be wise when choosing where you shop I highly recommend this place and besides the quality of the products being good and there being a very large, shifting variety of flower, vapes, edibles, drinks, pills etc .. the staff are VERY friendly and helpful, most are even willing to go out if they’re way to briefly educate you about different strains and give you personal recommendations.. I give this place 5 stars

Every time I have visited, everyone that's working has been super friendly and kind! Even if they're packed with a line out the door, they are always speedy and reliable. It amazes me sometimes just how much the budtenders(heck, even those who man the doors/IDs!) know about everything they have in stock! You would think some information would be lost in the constant shuffle of products. Today I stopped in after a long day of work, and Joe had my back! A++ customer service. Super kind, thoughtful, and friendly! It's not often someone tells you they love their job and you believe it, but here it's truly possible. AND he had me out the door in less than five minutes!! As I enjoy my Humboldt Head and from Rize cannabis, I thank the people who made this possible!

The whole experience was good and very easy.I ordered online and paid at the shop. I felt well taken care of. The customer service was friendly and professional. Nick is very helpful and his knowledge is impressive. I will definitely return in the future.

hi, Rocky is the man! everyone there is super helpful. though yes a little pricey. Cash is the best way to keep charges down. there are quality products, and an abundance of varieties to choose from.

I went in today for the billionth time & service was great as always from the ppl who greet you before coming in; I was serviced by Nick today & he was so nice & sweet. Also the lady who gave me my product with the brown hair & the blonde hair lady (sorry I don't know names) but they are the sweetest & most patient. -Maja

This store opened up within a mile from me and I am super pleased. I have been here several times. I have always had great service, especially when Rok helps me! Really though all the staff has been great. I see negative comments about the lack of displays but I have to say when I step into the weed store, I am simply looking for weed and I am not judging the store based on displays. Who cares! There are also comments about the wait in line, so please just pre-order or go somewhere else, that means less of a line for me :) I like to pay in cash. I, like many others, have other resources/ways to get flower, vapes, etc... but I choose this store when I am in need and they always have the weed :)

Best customer service. Rok L helped me with the potency of there weed and what would be great since I was in a motorcycle accident 3 years ago got a lot of bones broken and just got home and smoked this weed it had me pain free I was so glad with my purchase five stars all around!!!!

First time at a dispo and it was great! Short wait time great service. Gio M. Was amazing I told him I had no idea what I was really looking for and told me no problem came around the counter and showed me all the pre rolls they had, was able to clearly identify the strains and explain what they were. Recommend a few pre roll options so I picked two out, Super Runts and Blueberry Muffin. I’m 😴 great quality and great customer service will definitely be back!
