Absolutely Avoid Verilife – Worst Dispensary Experience I’ve Ever Had If I could give zero stars, I would. My visit to Verilife was so shockingly unprofessional that it left me wondering how this place is even still in business. After reading their multiple criminal complaints online for violence and theft, I should’ve taken the hint, but I decided to give it a try—huge mistake. The staff? Clearly high on the job. One cashier spent over twenty minutes joking around with a customer while the rest of us stood in line, ignored. No urgency, no backup, and zero awareness that people have lives outside of standing around in a weed shop. It felt like watching a bad improv show with no punchline. Eventually, a tall guy in ripped pajamas shuffled past to the bathroom. Ten minutes later he shuffled past again like he just woke up, it felt like the DMV. He didn’t greet me, yawned in my face, dropped my change, and then just stared at me like he wanted to fight. Apparently he was trying to intimidate me—very laughable. No thank you to Verilife on Barrington road, no professionalism, just a weird, aggressive vibe that felt totally inappropriate and borderline threatening. It’s painfully obvious that the staff is either under the influence while working or simply don’t care about the customer experience. Either way, the manager (Andrew) is failing big time. Allowing employees to behave like this—especially ones with a history of stealing or being fired—is a massive red flag. It’s like the Wild West in there, and customer service is the last thing on their minds. There are at least three other dispensaries within a block that actually know how to treat customers with respect. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else. Verilife is a joke, and not a funny one.

Horrible place to work.

I had brought my mother in to get some relief and she is not a medical card carrier. The staff there we more than pleasant and helpful. Most places treat recreational patients differently than the medical patients, not here. She had many questions and it was not an issue for the staff to point us in the right direction. I appreciate the time they took to listen and assess our needs. This is my home store from now on. Thanks, PS
