I’ve been a patient here off and on for 4 years. They always have a good selection of flower and the bud tenders are good at recommending strains for various conditions. Another great thing about this store is for the most part the employees have remained the same over the years. I appreciate a familiar face. The flower is good quality and moderately priced.

Stopped in on our way to Mt. Evans after eating at Ned’s across the street. This place is totally rad! I love going to mountain town dispensaries because they always have bud no one else down the mountain does. The pen and joint I bought are up there with the finest I’ve had and the staff was awesome to top it all off. They also have a huge display of glass pieces you can buy, we chose to get a hand made wooden pipe which they have a solid collection to choose from as well. Prices are good and so is the bud.

My family has lived in PC for over 50 years. Once a year over Labor Day we all meet for a family reunion. Usually we all bring our own bud and vapes from our various home towns from California to Colorado to Oregon. We were all pleasantly surprised to find PC has its own little shop. We visited here every day, took a family member there for his 21st, tried what seemed like of all their strains between all of us. All the bud here is fire and they have a 18% CDB for those needing some relief from hiking the dune! Prices are awesome for flower, pre rolls, tinctures, lotions, you name it. They sell hand made wooden pipes and have a rad selection of silicon pipes and bongs. They 2 ladies and 1 gentleman I met while there were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Oh and they have the coolest boxer pup that is stoked to see any new face that comes in the door. Definitely a place to stop in whether staying in PC for the weekend or driving through.

In an industry where it's hard to separate oneself from the competition Lightshade has found a way to separate themselves from the pack. I've been a medical patient for a little over 2 years now and have been a patient of 8 different shops and will never visit another even if there's a new patient deal. This is because all the staff is friendly and welcoming, they are extremely knowledgeable, their bud will get you more high than the same strain from another spot down the street AND they accept plastic. Their $45 shake ounces is by far the best deal in Colorado and the quality is bar none. Just 2 weeks ago I brought my mom with me so she could become a patient. Granted not a lot of people are getting stoned with their mothers but would you take your mom to a place that didn't have as many 5 star reviews?
