This strain is lit. Three puffs off my Select brand vape cart and I’m seeing stars in the best way possible. Very calming strain with a nice euphoric lift to it. Great for watching TV and socializing. The name doesn’t match the effect though. And I ain’t mad.

Hawaiian knocked me on my ass with the brute force of gentle trade winds. I was expecting this strain to hit with Sativa-like impact, which is why I picked it, but it made me deliciously sleepy instead. I popped my jammies on and snuggled deep into my blankies like one of those 80’s Glow-bug dolls that I obsessed over as a kid. Spoiler alert: I never got a Glow-bug doll, but Hawaiian sure feels like a pretty lit concession prize, because I slept like a damned baby. I picked it for the energy, but it put me on my back instead. And I ain’t mad. After that nap, I literally feel that sense of relaxation that I experienced on a vacation to Hawaii 10 years ago. Win-win!! Your mileage will always vary.

I really enjoyed this strain for it's calming effect. I tried about 55mg from a Pathway Dablicator. It took about 90 minutes for the calming, grounding effect to set in. Everything felt so mellow, and music felt richer and like it had more depth. I actually even had a bit of an upsetting thing happen to me later in the day while I was walking my dog. Instead of having a full-blown panic attack, I went home, had a good cry, and felt better afterwards. Also a great strain for socializing. I felt more at ease and unguarded around people. I felt like how I felt as a kid. Not a care in the world. I'll definitely be using this strain for days when I need to chill out and relax. Excellent strain for processing and unpacking heavy stuff too.
