My husband and I went to Safe Access for the first time a few weeks ago. That visit was a pleasant one with their having what we went there to purchase at the price on the 'menu' page on line. Saturday evening we went again after checking on line about 10 minutes before leaving for there. We live in Palm Desert , up Hwy 74, so it's a half hour drive or more to Safe Access location in Palm Springs/Gene Autry Trail. Once there we learned that they had just sold out of what we had bought on our last visit to them and that we wanted a half oz. of Saturday night but they did have another we wanted, an 1/8 oz., of that. When the sales clerk gave the total my husband told her that the added tax was't right as the price was suppose to enclude the tax. That 'is' according to the 'message box' at the top of their pricing menu referrencing tax policy.... with a drop down that clearly states that "all taxes are encluded" in 'menu' price, on line. However she told us that was not the case . WTF was all we could think about her refussing to put forth the effort to varify if we were right or if she was, by going to their on line Leafly site. It was too late to go elsewhere so we went ahead and made that purchase with the additional tax on top of 'menu' price as we were 'out' and it's a long drive to do again soon ,to one of their competiors near them, closer to Ramon . Anyway, we wonder how many other people did that same sales person rip off,i.m.o., that day.......besides us. We have our receipt for the purchase and plan to return for a refund of the over charges that their sales person added on purpose, after being told, that we had just seen on their site, on line, where it states that "all prices enclude tax".. *****As seen at top of pricing menu***** New Tax-Inclusive Pricing!
