Sweet Relief - St. Helens

After shopping here for over TWO YEARS, I am boycotting this place for a SECOND TIME (and final time, if they don't make things right by me). The first time I boycotted this place was because I was treated badly by management. Also, I'm fairly certain they were using vape cartridges before selling them (taking a few hits from a cartridge, then putting it back in the box and selling it), and I was getting tired of getting ripped off and not knowing what kind of filth they were getting on the mouth piece. This second time (after a several-month-long hiatus because of the first boycott) I went back, learned they had new management, so I figured I would give it another try. This didn't last long because one day my wife picked up a cartridge for me, but it wasn't the one I wanted, so I drove back to the store the same day, within probably 30 minutes or less, with the UNOPENED, ***FACTORY***SEALED*** package (unlike the other brand they used to illegally use before selling them to me, which came in an unsealed box), but the guy behind the counter said he can't do returns because his manager said so. Give me a break. After all the crap I put up with from this place, the least you can do is take back a FACTORY SEALED package that was purchased 30 minutes ago, so I can get the right product I want.

This place is getting better and has become my go-to place instead of another dispensary in the area that has become a disappointment. The place was remodeled and made the shop larger and more welcoming, even if the atmosphere does still make one feel a bit rushed. The staff is alright, sort of friendly, sort of not, and on the newer/younger side. Then again, MOST dispensaries seem to have newer or younger staff who don't have a whole lot of actual useful knowledge about Cannabis other than the difference between Indica and Sativa. This is frustrating not because of wanting to learn form them, but rather, it is difficult to engage in a meaningful conversation because of their lack of knowledge about what you are talking about. This might be fine for recreational users, but when it comes to using Cannabis as a health and wellness product, it really behooves dispensaries to either train their staff better, or just hire people who have a lot of knowledge in this area in the first place.

The guy and gal here who I had the pleasure of working with are courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, and fair. I had purchased a few items and had a bad cartridge, so I took it back. They took it back with only reasonable questions, very fast, allowed me to upgrade to a better cartridge, then when I went to the ATM to cover the difference, they said don't worry about it and gave it to me. Very cool!! Such good customer service deserves to be recognized and these two awesome people are especially good at this. If I lived closed to this dispensary, it would probably be my main place to go.
