JARS Cannabis - Metro Center (Med/Rec)
3/28/2020
Well we're under Coronavirus "social distancing" mandate at this location, as you all know, so it took longer.
I was a "walk up", so l had to flash my card. The guards are great, they ask to see a "confirmation" of an online order.
In my case l didn't have that and was going to walk away when the guard stopped me and pointed me in the direction of a computer, wanting me to order and then get in line.
I, of course, didn't bring my glasses, an assistant of JARS finally managed to get me ordered properly through Leafly website.
About 26 minutes later, l would say, l had the medicine and was on my way.
So the deal is this.
You must order online first.
Await your order fulfillment.
Then go in and pick it up.
JARS can't have more than 3 customers in the facility at one time (in accordance with guidelines issued by the Arizona Department of Health, CDC and White House Coronavirus Task Force guidelines ( available at Whitehouse.gov ).
JARS asks for our cooperation in this matter, to insure they can serve the maximum number of patients as possible.
Note: If your symptomatic, coughing, runny nose, sire throat please stay home. It is my understanding JARS will deliver to you if needs be. No need for you to venture out.
This way we can all comply with Mayor Gallegos declaration, "Stay home, save lives."
Final note: Thank you JARS, your commitment and dedication to your patients is extraordinary given the circumstances of the COVID 19 pandemic spread.
We here a lot sometimes about healthcare workers acting heroically during the national emergency. We don't here about dispensary owners and licensed medical marijuana sales staff getting any credit for staying open to serve people, all of whom have medical issues for which they receive and need medical marijuana in the first place.
I am here to say JARS has insured, all throughout the initial 15 day blunt the spread of the virus period, under the most restricted circumstances an adequate supply of medication to me as a patient. Nor did they limit me in my purchase in any way.
More importantly, when supply lines across the entire country are under stress, they managed to "deliver ".
You appreciate the sense of it more l think when you walk deserted streets and past shuttered stores, like out of a scene of zombie apocalypse or something, and find JARS still open for business. Oh what a relief that it..
Thanks also to ACT security services, who provide armed security protection at this location. Your customer service is outstanding. I feel comforted knowing your proving security here.
Your also guarding a location with more cash at any one time than a bank branch. All the while ensuring the safety of personnel, property and customer safety - under a declared national emergency. Wow! I wish l could hire about a dozens of you guys to guard me everywhere l go...
But seriously, my hope is the state will allow JARS to accept credit and debit cards in the future.
I don't know about you guys but l personally don't like carrying cash around.
Oh by the way, they do have an ATM at this location, but it charges a user fee.
