Hey Leafly, So, I might seem like a total spam-bot, with all boxes ticked and all stars at 5... ... But I'm actually just that impressed. After being horrified by the quality of service from my previous dispensary (my last visit ending with me in tears), I sought out real professionalism. Knowledgeable staff, warm service, and the understanding that for some medicinal users, cannabis can be rather necessary, and should be taken seriously. I had great things about The Toronto Dispensary from Leafly, forums, and the like, and decided to give it a try. Appy, who was working the front desk and helped me sign up, was an absolute pleasure. Very relaxed, and really showed that she wanted to help. Not to mention she sat through my anxious rambling, which honestly... no one should ever have to do. :P Somehow, even while she was constantly answering the doorbell, and had to answer the phone periodically, I never once felt ignored and I felt very looked after. Sam greeted me, invited me in, and immediately offered in-depth, personalized answers to ALL of my questions. When I told her the issues I was dealing with, she knew EXACTLY what to get me. She went into detail as far as describing Terpene profiles and basing recommendations partly on that. Have yet to try the herb ("Edelweiss") but that's just due to paraphernalia needing cleaning. The purple candy shatter she told me to get is lovely, and I'm currently enjoying it out of my Dr. Dabber pen while I write this review. ;) All the flower and shatter I was able to see and examine before the exact same nugs got weighed and put in a bag for me. So surprises here. It's like picking your own pet at a pet shop. except it gets you high. :) Great selection as well. At least a dozen jars of weed, great concentrate selection, as well as a fun assortment of drink crystals, edibles, and a couple odds and ends too. :) Simon was also working at the counter during my visit, and he joined Sam and I for a conversation/adventure and it was great to have a second opinion as well. He answered a lot of questions I had as well, and I left with all three of us laughing about mascot ideas for the dispensary. I will be back as soon as I finish all of this (maybe sooner), and I can't wait. Just a nice, safe, and relaxed place to get all the options and all the knowledge I need. Take debit and credit, too! HST has to be charged for that, but if you're a pinch, it's better than a lot of other places I've been. Go check 'em out!
