Been visiting The Herb Center for a while now. Usually a very good selection of reasonably priced c02 concentrates. I don't use the flower anymore but they seem to have a great selection. Always friendly staff and I never feel rushed. I recently visited two dispensaries in the place called Portland (see other reviews if you care to) and they could both learn about selection from The Herb Center. I thought going to the big city would afford me more retail selection and better pricing. This was definitely not the case...the opposite in fact. The grass was not greener. Sorry...had to say it. Thanks Herb Center!

After my unpleasant visit with another retailer just previous to stopping here (see my other review, you'll get it) Grohi was a breath of fresh air. Basic no-frills layout, clean, well-lit, not a great selection of c02 oils though they did have some. Can't comment on bud selection as I don't consume that way these days. The bright spot here was Stephanie. Helpful, smiling, friendly and empathetic regarding the bad taste from the previously visited dispensary. I'll add Grohi to one of my stops on my semi-annual Portland trips.

I signed up to Leafly specifically to leave this review. I make the trip from Central Oregon to the city called Portland for medical reasons every six months. It's brutal enough to leave the serenity that is Central Oregon to visit the havoc that is Portland. My visit to Chalice Farms Powell was definitely not the "high" point of this semi-annual trek. After reading reviews I thought this would be the place to visit, so I dropped in on my way back over the mountain. Nice building, great parking, ADA access, nice chat with the very pleasant person at the front desk. Beautifully crafted fixtures and displays...really very nice. The two guys working the counter were chatty and informative. My problem: the employee "assigned" to help me. What a smug, condescending, unpleasant person. Knowledge about a product is great...until it is used to try to prove that you are superior to someone else. Your attempt at this was all for your own head. If you had gotten over yourself and treated me with respect I would have spent a lot more than I did. In retrospect, I should have not spent anything. A little tip for you: your extensive "knowledge" about product needs to be broadened a bit. Just because you have never heard of a certain packaging method does not mean it is inferior. Do some homework. Visit a dispensary that is not in your locale. Things are different elsewhere. I'll try another place when I am next in Portland.
