At first, I was glad that any dispensary had opened near my house, but after just a couple of visits, I realized how lucky I am that this particular dispensary opened a mear two miles away. The staff is incredible; besides the warm, friendly atmosphere, I was greeted by name after only my second visit, all the information I received was top notch. While I haven't had need of the service myself, I like that a pharmacist is on-site for consolations. The rewards program is the icing on the cake. Beyond/Hello would now be my go-to dispensary even if it weren't the nearest to me.

This strain was one I first purchased because it was on sale due to being "small bud"(which is a benefit here in PA as the containers they are forced to package "dry flower"[more PA nonsence] prevent one from ever getting decent size buds). Anyway 1/4 lasted three weeks as opposed to give or six days. I did have other strains for specific needs but most were forgotten in jars for a while. I continued to take my oral medication morning and night(about 10mg thc). I found one hit of Special Ops in the morning and I was almost completely pain free the entire day. It was around 5:30pm before it occurred to take a second hit, the first being around 7:00/7:30am. I have polyneuropathy, RA, a history of multiple broken bones including two vertebrae (diagnosed with osteoporosis in my 30's) each old break I feel as if they were fresh when the air pressure changes as well as a host of other problems caused by small non-malignant tumors circulating my lymphatic system. If one gets gets stuck as it circulates soon another will get stuck behind the narrowing then another; they continue to build up like plaque in the arteries In sure most everyone has seen an animations at some time (but it happens in a matter of minutes or hours rather than years) this escalating condition has caused me pain my entire life. However the last 15 years or so have been agonizing, life threatening (once life ending) and maddening as heck, as one system after another suffers biological damage. On the outside I had my left ear amputated in December because the continuous damage caused by the tumors repeatedly lead to sepsis. It took three years of begging for them to amputate too, they all thought they could fix the problem. My right ear now has the narrowest lymphatic vessels, they began to clog a short time later in Febuary. The infections caused by pockets of blood formed as swollen lymph vessels blocked blood flow of nearby veins. those continuous infections would activate another rare autoimmune condition I have Relapsing Polychondritus which causes inflammation then destruction of cartilage as its attack by my own immune system. What was once an event which happened once or twice a year my ear would turn red and swell. It began nonstop and increased in severity so that my ear often swelled to the point the cartilage ripped through the skin, as it was pulled as tout as possible and could stretch no more. I know this is a lot of detail I just want to be clear about the level of pain I combative every day, I say that with no intention of belittling of dismissing anyone else's pain. I know people suffer much worse than I. and each person's suffering is their own and just as meaningful as any others. The pain I was is was so unbearble, to the degree I even attempted suicide before medical cannabis became legal in Pennsylvania. Before cannabis I was taking 120mg of oxy(prescribed) and 60mg methadone (prescribed) (for neuropathy: gabapentin, methadone, and alcohol were the only thing to treat neuropathic pain before medical canabis) and was crying myself to sleep I know that was a huge ball of information not about Special Ops; I felt it necessary to explain the battlefield to which it was deployed and what it was up agaist. Special Ops is perfectly nailed it; went in and took out every enemy it engaged: deep pain, anxiety, insomnia, aches, mental hiccups (ptsd-when you smoke trying and forget the images of things you've seen, the memories of what you've done and have had some to you) and most importantly for physical improvement is inducing hunger. that effect, increased appetite creeps up later than most other hunger inducing strains though. I take a hit and almost instantly am up able to do things, then about 40 minutes later I go from feeling like i can't eat for days (gasteoparesis) to I need food now! Again I apologize for all the health info but I wanted to clearly illustrate that this strain works miracles for me. I use it medicinally. But when I smoke recreationally back in my 20s this strain would be perfect for watching a spaced based film with one or two others in the dark, just chilling at the end of the day. While it hasn't ever hampered my sleep, tiredness doesn't hit it fast an hard. While I love this stain, it helps me more that the two basket of Rx pills they got me on, the one thing is like for it to do more is hit like a train at night for instant sleep. If, of course, it did it's be no good for getting though my day. So that's an acceptable omission from its effects. Short story even longer, medically this strain does what I need it to. Saving me money all the while as most other strains can't deliver that kind of relief with so little. I' be had Special Ops range from 25.8% -33.3% thc+thca content and the potency makes a difference for the psychoactive effects but after the 90 minute "high" wears of I still get another six seven hours of pain relief while clear headed and sober. The entourage effect of produced by the unique combination of Cannabinoids in this stain is so perfect for my situation. if it manages to wrangle under control the cacophony of health issues I face I can't imagine that it won't help everyone in at least one way.
