DKC has some of the best prices for quality products in Denver. I go here to get my cartridges, even though there are a ton of other places that are a lot closer to me, because the price on the cartridges made with their home grown cannabis is unbeatable. Also, they constantly have great deals in Westword that they'll happily give you if you just mention the deal, and they even offer a discount for those with student IDs! The service is always great, with very helpful and friendly bud tenders. However, the store itself is very small and can feel kind of cramped when it gets busy. Also, it doesn't have a parking lot and is very close to a few music venues, so parking can be kind of tricky, especially when there are events happening in the area.

This is a great dispensary if you're looking to casually browse through a huge variety of quality strains. And this is one of the few places that almost always stocks one of my favorite indicas, LA Confidential. If you're looking for a particular strain, you'll probably find it here, and there's a good chance it will even be on sale. The service and atmosphere are less personal than many other dispensaries, but I feel as though this creates a more laid back, less in-your-face, type of experience. When you walk in, you are not immediately assigned a personal bud tender. Instead, you're free to walk around and browse, like you would in a store that doesn't sell cannabis. The only real downside to this setup is that when it gets busy, it can be somewhat difficult to flag down a bud tender to assist you. But normally I have no problems getting a bud tender, and they are always very helpful and friendly.

This is a great dispensary if you're looking for the highest quality cannabis and willing to pay a premium price. When my friends come from out of state and want to see some of the best cannabis that Colorado has to offer, this is one of the places I take them to. However, if you're looking for a bargain price on low-quality cannabis, you won't find that here. The bud tenders are very friendly and knowledgeable. One of the few downsides is that there are normally only two bud tenders working at a time, so I usually end up spending about five minutes in the waiting room. The good news about the waiting room is that it's very comfortable. The entire atmosphere--from the waiting room to the counter--reminds me of hanging out in the living room of a friend's house. The lighting is soft, and the employees are welcoming. All of these things make Sacred Seed one of my regular stops.
