Okay, 70’s kid here. My first smoke out was CG. My then dealer knew I was going through some shit at that time and suggested I try using cannabis as medicine. Best thing to ever happen to this then an 11 yr old kid. Not only could I function, but the anxiety and stressors at that time were suppressed. The flavor that I recall was earthy, yet floral. The sativa side helped me get through my days, yet sedated enough to function. I remember that high tho. Yes, gold in color and tended to have quite a few seeds. Some of the pics below just don’t match up to the quality CG I was getting. Anyway, if someone had a sack of that today, I’d acquire some to to back in time.

Colombian Gold is a friendly landrace sativa. I tried multiple batches by Potent Planet (from Prime Leaf). CG is one of the cleanest, happiest, safely energetic sativa strains I’ve ever had. If you ever find it, grab it. It’s a rare one.

Just ripped a bongful of CG I’m flower with some Tut hash and am feeling very calm.

Tasteful, lovely smell, clear vision, happy feelings, positive vibration, exotic flavor.

In the 70’s this was the only strain we used to get. Their was another columbian strain we called redbud, but can’t find any reference to it anywhere. What I remember about CG was that I laughed uncontrollably, felt on occasion that I was tripping and the taste was one of rarity. There is nothing out there now that matches it. I remember one joint getting 5-6 people completely baked. What I would give for just one hit off that mid-seventies joint just one more time!

This strain was perfect for tonight’s Halloween festivities. I put this in my hookah and boy that hit just right. Somehow I ended up skinny dipping under blue lights. 🤯🤷🏽‍♀️

It has an amazing and unique aroma. It starts as a giggly relaxed head high that slowly turns into a full body high. Good for de-stressing.
