My score for Jack One is less about the quality of the high and more about how it compares to the hype and to other premium-grade strains. After trying it 4-5 times, I've concluded J1 produces a very nice, reasonably strong high. But it's not the first thing I go to when I have other premium options. Right now, I have GSC, GG4, Blue Dream and J1 in my jar, and I'll go for the GSC or GG4 before the J1, which is on around the same level as Blue Dream for me. It doesn't creep much; I feel it pretty quickly after I've started, and it has a nice, rounded effect - slowly builds up, peaks, and slowly drops down. The high is gone around 3-1/2 - 4 hours after 1 bowl. It's woodsy and citrucy, very easy at medium burn temps, but it gets harsh when you turn up the heat just a little. I experienced mild-to-moderate munchies - nothing overwhelming, which was nice. I will never say no to J1; It's good stuff. It's just not as good as its hype and doesn't stand out amongst its high-THC peers. I pay $65 for 1/4 of GG4, $70 for 1/4 of GSC and $90 for 1/4 of J1, making it a low-value purchase. I'll smoke it and enjoy it all day, but I can't justify a high rating. 3/5

Really nice very smooth and fruity

Strain: J1 (Jack Herer / Skunk#1 cross -- Sativa leaning Hybrid) THC: 22.95% CBD: 0.00% Grower: Unknown Location found: Portland Canna Connection Date purchased: 3.7.16 Price: $10.00/g Weight: 1.1g Method of Consumption: Herb Iron and small bong Smell: Such a combination of flavors. Jack, berry, cheese(?) all present and very potent. Just intense. Look: Very dense nugget. Bright orange hairs, trimmed well and good bud formation. Broke the scissors into the nugget and skunky greatness was released into the room. Seems like a hidden treasure to me. Taste: The Jack and cheese was present on the inhale. Even though I did not taste a ton of the skunk flavor I smelled when I broken into the nugget, it is definitely in the smoke in the air. Recommendation for medicine: This one slowed me down to think. For a bit. Not a debilitating strain, just strong and potent. Some euphoria came with the relaxed slumped shoulders. I could feel my face relaxing in a slur that would be very recognizable as very high or just laid.

Tried for the first time two months ago after a trip to California, I Suffer with Anxiety Disorder and Depression. Post 15 minute toke, anxiety melts away and happiness destroys any and all depressions 👌

Smoke it and discover your best self. It's hard to describe, but it's the kind of high where you aren't really excessively anything. You'll certainly laugh or think or sleep if you want to, but it's not gonna be your giggliest, most focused, or most relaxing high. But what made this so unique for me was how it took all my personality traits and sharpened them. Basically, it felt like I discovered the smartest, wittiest, kindest, most confident version of myself. Colors were more vibrant, music was more engrossing. Simply put, for a few hours, you'll see what it feels like to be you at your very best.

Sativa dominant hybrid with two classics as direct parents (Jack Herer and Skunk 1) - the Skunk essentially supercharges an already potent Jack Herer strain by instilling some missing parts on the indica leaning side (even though Skunk is a hybrid). This has a bright bouquet, has citrus-infused notes and maintains a bright green color making it an aesthetically superior to most strains - it's bright, citrus/pine smell is alluring as well. The buzz - euphoric and energetic with creative juices flowing. Also small body buzz present. Great strain.

The first time I smoked J1, I hated it. It was a weird high. It made me anxious, and it gave me a headache. I wasn't able to focus on anything. But being my dumbass, I bought a whole f***kin ounce of that s**t. So I gave it a couple more shots, and loved it. My anxiety went away, I could focus, it made me euphoric. Great strain. 10/10 would smoke again.
