NYPD, or New York Power Diesel is a fantastic sativa. As I smoke I get a burst of relaxation followed by the sudden interest of everything around me, and deeper into the high I get what I can the "classic high". Any experienced sativa fan will enjoy this and possibly choose to keep as the main bud of choice.

Phenomenal!

Fun! Does have a diesel vibe going. Helpful for focus, energy, workouts, etc. Pretty potent too. I liked it. Having said that, it seems lacking next to Sour D and many other zippy "sativa"-ish strains. I enjoyed it, but probably won't buy on repeat.

TL;DR: Great strain to go through the hard times, or just to prime yourself for some serious action. Great uplifting feeling, very energizing. When I vape it, I don't want to sit around and think, but happily engage in some activity: socializing, playing games etc. Watching a movie also goes great with this one. But if I want to just sit down and contemplate my life, I become bored very quickly. About 1:20 hours later it lets go gently, giving some full-body effects, but it comes a little short here: they are not very strong and pass the next day. That can't be said about the uplifting effect: the next day I still feel full of energy and it's easy to get up and go back to doing whatever life has in store for me. A tiny bit of anxiety comes and goes. Far from enough to make an experience negative. One point of concern would be that during the prolonged use of this strain my daily sleep duration has decreased from 7-9 hours to 6-7. I don't know if it's natural when you take only sativa for a long while, but I also have a lot of stress in my life which could also contribute.

Maybe it's the batch I have of it. It looks amazing. But it tastes so much like a orange/tangie/jillybean type strain to me. I'm not a fan of that flavor profile. I wonder if the dispensary has Tangie Biscotti mislabeled? If not, this isn't a strain for those that aren't fans of orange zest flavor. The high is mellow and relaxing, slightly cerebral.

Awesome thick head high smooth funk throughout the WHOLE body

Every time I smoke NYPD it makes my lungs feel very tense and its VERY uncomfortable. If a strain was to give me a panic attack it probably would be this one. With that being said, if you do not experience any discomfort with this strain, It can be a really nice high. Not for me though.
