The flavor was very accurate
I really didn’t enjoy anything about this strain. For some reason the taste made me sick
Very good strain if you like your sativa's. Smells great and looks great. Also tastes good
First, know that I prefer indicas. I don't hate sativas, but I have to be careful about which I smoke and how much I smoke. I rolled up a .6 to .7 gram joint and the flower was really tasty. A little harsh but mostly a sweet, hashy citrus flavor dominated. The effects came on quick. I started feeling dizzy and disoriented, so I got up from the table to get to the couch, and suddenly I realized I was lying on the floor on my back. I wasn't hurt, but it did freak me out a bit to have no recollection of how I ended up on the floor. For the next hour, I laid on the couch, semi-conscious, half dreaming, half hallucinating. I wasn't paranoid or anxious, but it was uncomfortable to be so high that I couldn't move.
Definitely trippy. After an hour, I was left with a mostly functional, focused sativa high. I doubt I'll try this one again any time soon. I often enjoy sativas while on a hike -- what a disaster it would have been had I been hiking while smoking on tangie!
If you love sativas, you'll probably like this. But I personally can't give it more than three stars.
Tangie is hard to disagree with. From the incredible smell to the tightly packed calyxes coated with a light layer of trichomes this is a pleasing plant to many of the senses. The high isn't like Green Crack or racy and even though I suffer from anxiety constantly this is a sativa strain that doesn't provoke it and actually does a solid job of suppressing or at least making me forget about it for a bit. This particular batch I picked up from Fox Street Wellness in Denver and it was a bit expensive at $90 for a 1/4 oz (MED) but after the first bag it was clearly worth it and then some. The budtender said the seeds were from Crockett Family Farms, wherever it originated from these guys did a nice job with it.
Tangie is definitely up there with some of my favorite strains. It feels so good to smoke a few bowls before a hike or some other physical activity, and you can expect happy, euphoric vibes. Its energizing high is devoid of anxiety and paranoia, and its citrus flavor leaves little to be desired.
I tried it last night (vape at 350F, 2 long breaths) and it was pleasant, and has a really wonderful scent. It felt nice and gave a slight buzz in the upper forehead and crotch. I was surprised and a bit disappointed that it had no erotic effect at all, though I will test it again later. I expect that it would be a great daytime strain for creative work, since I was quite clear-headed though clearly felt the buzz. Slept very well a few hours later.
Mine was by Triumph (Cleo Cannabis), bought at Main St. Marijuana in Vancouver, WA.
Pretty baked rn...
It has my wife in the most positive mood ever, nothing can upset her, I wonder......
(She's a sativa type of women)
