Only had drinks in here and stopped off for a smoke we already had on us, drinks were all really good and service was brilliant. Atmosphere was faultless quality little coffeeshop will 100% be going back

It’s the greatest coffeeshop in Amsterdam. Current laws prevent most Amsterdam coffeeshops to allow people to smoke their joint with regular tobacco. Instead people are forced to smoke their green with a mix of herbs that taste not unalike the stuff we feed to horses. But at this coffeeshop the smoking area is as spacious, comfortable and atmospheric as the non-tobacco smoking area. The drinks and food is almost as great as their supply of weed at many various prices. And to add to that they have a number of boardgames and a vaporiser at your exposal. And when people call you, if they ask where you are, just say: i am in Russia!

Greenhouse is well known to be the Coffeeshop of the 'King of Cannabis', Arjen van Roskam. I love watching Strain Hunters and was intrigued to visit the coffeeshop and see what it was like. I bought some Super Lemon Haze (organically grown) and enjoyed being there. Being in the city center it is very touristy and often very busy. There's often large queues at the bar and the waiters seem very rushed which kind of kills the vibe. The interior is absolutely beautiful. Very trippy, shroomy-like decorations with accompanying music. When it's warm you can sit outside look out over the gracht.

If you are in Amsterdam and like a smoke then this is the place to go, the oldest coffee shop in Amsterdam with lots of memorabilia involving old police raids and history of the building, it's very busy but if you manage to get a booth (which we did) then it's an extremely good atmosphere with perfect service and great music to chill to and a great drinks selection. Also a very good selection of strains,make sure you head here!!!

Came here on my 3rd trip to Amsterdam. A small and cosy little coffeeshop by the canal, just outside of the business of the centre. The budtender/barista was a funny and sarcastic kind of guy (local of course), but friendly and let me have a close up look and smell of the flowers! There was also a fantastic tea selection (I recommend a Super Silver Haze and Vanilla Tea combination). Prices were fair and the teas also inexpensive! If you prefer a smoke by the canal at a more local and quieter coffeeshop (with 90's hip hop on then speakers), I highly recommend it.

Classic Amsterdam coffee shop! A must visit if you're walking near the Red Light District. They have two locations: one where you can purchase cannabis, and another (about 20m down the same street) where you can smoke/drink/socialize.
