Classic Amsterdam coffee shop! A must visit if you're walking near the Red Light District. They have two locations: one where you can purchase cannabis, and another (about 20m down the same street) where you can smoke/drink/socialize.

Greenhouse is well known to be the Coffeeshop of the 'King of Cannabis', Arjen van Roskam. I love watching Strain Hunters and was intrigued to visit the coffeeshop and see what it was like. I bought some Super Lemon Haze (organically grown) and enjoyed being there. Being in the city center it is very touristy and often very busy. There's often large queues at the bar and the waiters seem very rushed which kind of kills the vibe. The interior is absolutely beautiful. Very trippy, shroomy-like decorations with accompanying music. When it's warm you can sit outside look out over the gracht.

Very good atmosphere, like an ol good pub. Nice service, good ppl, some even play chess. I'd recommend to stay there and order some tea or coffee too.

Nice place to smoke outside in the benches. friendly host and good weed (had pure weed joint of silver haze). Not the cheapest but it is cheaper than the famous coffee shops around.

This is the best "quality-cost" coffee shop that I found in Amsterdam. It is located very good, afterwards you can walk easily to Rembrandtplein or to Red-light area. Give it a try!!
