Its hard to say what I was most impressed by but considering good customer service is hard to find these days lets just go with that. Damian and Tom were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. If you're a new smoker they'll help you find what you need without belittling your knowledge and if you're experienced they got a lot of great meds and good edibles that are upto the highest standards if you ask me."The brandt" edible knocked me out I couldnt even make it to 4:20 on 420! Great lounge to hang out and medicate, returning as soon as possible

NO ENTRY FEE. Awesome! The best S.E. Portland source for green medicine I've seen yet. Friendly people, comfy couches, and a nice variety of herbs. Not to mention weekly perks like: Free Slice of Cannabis "Cake Day". You'll get a complimentary joint if you are a first-timer, and another joint for your first review of them here, on Leafly. They roll fat joints.

Love the approach here....no membership fees or door fees, no intrusive paperwork to fill out, and freebies on your first visit? Great! Picked up some Girl Scout Cookies and it was divine. Had some Bubba Kush that was above average, but the GSC takes the cake....haha. Hope everyone makes this their dispensary of choice in Foster-Powell. I have found a home here.

Service: Good service, very friendly staff there to take the time to help you find the right strain, edibles, and more to meet your needs. Knowledge: Basic knowledge of strains, knowing which strain is more dominant for sativa vs indica. CBD and THC levels were listed or known, but most dispensaries don't, so no big deal. Meds: More than a dozen strains, well known and newer strains alike, good quality. A decent selection of edibles, oils, topicals, and concentrates. Atmosphere: This for me, makes the place unique, pool table, lounge area, it's inviting and makes you want to hang out for a bit. - I consider myself a critical reviewer, I don't give out all 5's just because I picked up some decent meds, a dispensary review involves careful consideration and my reviews reflect that.

WOW! I have my place I like to go but we wanted to check out other local medical dispensaries in search of stronger medibles...I was absolutely 110% elated to find (a little spendy but worth EVERY dollar) a medible with the potency I would make for myself. They also have topical balms and oils that are far superior to anything I have found thus far and not to forget the cannabis....Ummm.... definitely amazing medical quality pain control!!!! Everyone; staff and patrons alike were friendly, helpful and professional. Tom was especially knowledgeable and willing to share his knowledge, which was greatly appreciated. Sweet treats for sure! Thanks guys, I'll be seeing ya!

This is my new favorite place! Super-friendly staff and really nice vibes in the lounge. Fully accessible, clean and safe place with comfortable lighting and seating. I hope more dispensaries adopt this type of lounge service, coming here is so much better than the awkward experiences I've had at even the best places around Portland today. Their buds are superb - instead of offering 20 different strains of mediocre flowers, AR has a more concise selection of primo blossom. I can't wait to go back to Alternative Remedies for my medication.

All staff who work here create a very comfortable environment. If you're looking for a very chill place to medicate this is a fantastic place to stop by. I recommend Alternative Remedies - great edibles, cana-drinks, and flower.

Remember that friend(way back in the day) with the really nice basement. Big tv, red zone on Sunday, soft couches, dogs welcome, big bathroom, nice people, pool table, decent music, good friends often sharing medicine and his mom cleaned up. A great place to hang out and nobody charging to get in. Now knock out one wall and put in a counter with weed. Beutiful meds in all forms. Nice, caring and knowledgeable, people to help you select your meds. You should check it out.

I absolutely love this place, it is one of my favorites! The service is exemplary, the staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is a home like setting; an awesome environment to make new acquaintances. They have an awesome selection of medibles. I am never disappointed. I would definitely recommend this to others. I need not forget to mention the pool table in there!

Came in here to try out their butter.. Not only was the butter awesome, but the friendly and super attentive staff were amazing as well. Got to try the volcano for the first time here too.. Will definitely be coming back. (:

Was welcomed VERY warmly. Lots of space and awesome chill spot, good meds, nice edible selection, very friendly, good vibes all around! The lady budtender was a ssweetheart and treated me like family! Everyone else I met was the same way. I would say they're the next nice nice up and coming club!! :)

I came in for the first time on Halloween. It was so awesome to come in and see a party in full swing. There was a pinata with medication inside. Everyone was very welcoming. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. They even gave me a slice of cake and a container for some of my medication. I will definitely be returning.

Stopes by for the first time and quite pleasantly surprised by both how nicely I was greeted by Damian and how nice the club was inside. Warm and inviting is how I would describe both . The meds are top shelf and an abundance of edibles more then I've seen at other places. Both Damian and the nice lady who's name has slipped my mind at the moment were very helpful and informative sharing community info for us growers and users . They offered my my choice of a lovely free bee that I enjoyed for bed time. With no pressure to reimbursement ! I will definitely be back to enjoy this gem

I've been checking out lots of shops in the area lately and Alternative Remedies is by far my favorite to visit. I always feel welcomed and the staff is super nice. They carry all my favorite strains and are a reliable source for concentrates.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgable of all the popular stains. I have found the best quality meds and edibles here, and a large relaxed area to hang out for a bit. Very mellow place with no pressure to buy, but I just keep coming back for the good stuff. See you there!
