Atlas Cannabis Co. is a provisioning center in Constantine, MI focusing on providing customers quality, affordable and recreational (21+) cannabis. Our shop welcomes cannabis users at all levels with a staff that is knowledgeable and friendly. Our story, like us, is very unique. After completing multiple tours in Iraq, one of our founders, Steve Monti, found solace in cannabis. Not long after his return, he met Nikki, and the first question she asked him on their first date was, “Do you smoke weed?” Soon after, the two were wed. In order to continue to grow and use a plant that helped them both so much, they moved to Michigan in 2011 to pursue their dream of becoming legal cannabis growers and professionals. They began operating as caregivers, serving their patients very high quality organic cannabis. One of those patients, a student at Michigan State University at the time and a well-studied connoisseur of only the best cannabis in Michigan, Gillian Dawson, would become a lifelong friend and eventual business partner. The three dreamed up their idea to open and operate their own cannabis retail location and in only a few short years that dream was realized. Although Steve and Nikki are no longer caregivers, that system brought us together and is something we believe in and, even though we operate a retail location, we fully support what the caregiver system has done for the State of Michigan and the many patients who have benefited from it.
